I haven't played as a mage, but I saw in some of the youtube videos that his dialogue is different if you are. Especially if you're rivaling him as a mage. He says things about not understanding how you can turn on your own people, or something to that effect. So I'm gonna guess that yes, he does react somewhat differently if you're a mage than the rest of the classes.

The dialogue is slightly different depending on whether you are pro chantry or pro mages.

Dialogue is slightly different. If you are a warrior or rogue he will ask how you can be against your sister, if you are a mage he will ask how you can be against your own kind.

yes a lot of the characters do mention a thing or two about u being a mage. fenris is a little put off when he first meets u but it dosnt rly affect your relationship with him unless u stick up for mages when he is around. meredith and orsino also mention it.

My mage definitely had some fun siding with the templars and annoying the heck out of Anders, especially in Act III.

Hawke: Mages are dangerous and should be locked up.
Anders: How can you say that when you're running around free?
Hawke: So? They're weak.
Anders: I hate you!

...or something to that effect. I wish there was more of it. Almost tempted to rivalry romance him next time I play a mage to see if it gets any more angry :-)

But he'll still never mention your Blood Magic...
