Please do not take this the wrong way but did you abuse a glitch in Redcliffe to earn gold? I have talked to several people who have corrupted their game files and every one has taken advantage of this glitch. It would be good to establish if the corrupting files are soley as a result of using this glitch or if there are other factors involved.

What glitch? No. I didn't. I don't know about it. I don't do glitches. I did one once in another game and the game broke for me later, right before the end. I figure it was the exploit, so now I don't. Ever. Period.

So it's not that.

I have a major freezing issue with game, particularly for the Broken Circle quest, just before exiting the raw-Fade. Game would lock-up during the loading screen. I got so frustrated that I reformatted the HDD and grinded through another character, only to wind up experiencing the same problem. Now I'm suspect my entire HDD needs to be replaced.



Honestly, the list of game-breaking glitches in this game astounds me.

aridante if you suffer from this kind of problem write it in topic which I started yesterday cause I have same kind of problem - game keeps freezing. maybe Bioware will start to pay attention finally

I doubt it. I posted about a broken quest and even figured out what triggers the break, and not even a peep from the idiots in charge. Just look up my thread here on the front page.

That sounds like your xbox 360 system is getting ready to fail,its not the dragon age game,because if it where many more 360 players would be having your game problems,also i know because i had to have my 360 repaired 2 times in the past 4 years because at a certain point it starts to act up and freeze up when its about to die.

P.S. i own the 360 CE version and i have had no problems with "game problems/bugs/glitchs" i play with the game installed to the HDD,runs smooth,never lags,only after playing 2+ hours straight because of the memory leak problem.Other than underwhelming graphics even with HDTV i love this game,thank you bioware.

I have also had the looping glitch while trapped in the Fade. Mine was with Sten's scenario. One of his companions was headless and just chatting away.. hilarious. Also in a lot of the cut scenes the character will appear to be talking but there is no audio. But.. none of that matters as compared to the dexterity bug. Please please please please provide us a patch guys.

Patch Dex bug plz. FFS BW stop with the crappy DLC and start with fixing the game first. How hard can this be? Do you want to kill your fan base or maintain a healthy relationship. I shouldn't even have to ask this basic marketing question. Thanks EA for ruining yet another developer....I'm canceling my ME2 pre-order, no ****ing way BW get my money if they are going to pull this bull****.

heh i suppose i've been very lucky in that all the minor glitches i've had have either been amusing or of no major annoyance...



I had the loop one with wynne in the fade but hey, i was in the fade and i at first thought it was just messing with my character and wynnes minds to keep us trapped, so that was kinda amusing.



I've had a couple side quests that i couldn't complete like the loveletters to the bartender and fazzles request in denerim but i think its coz i picked those things up before i took on the quest and as i can't repick the items up they're likely uncompletable now...



the last glitch that was a bit of a huh? moment was at the ending i had sacrificed myself and anora was giving a speech when out of nowhere she mentions that another character had died also...when to my knowledge they hadn't...i was like, wait, wha, when, huh...but it passed by and was reasonably amusing.

I'm not overly optimistic that EA/Bioware have any intentions of supporting D.A:O on the consoles. Just look at the evidence so far: there's a terse little message from Chris Priestly telling us to take our problems over to EA, or failing that, sort them out amongst ourselves. It doesn't bode well guys.



The whole thing just smacks of the LOTR BFME2 farago of a few years back, when EA's community manager promised the baying masses that a patch for that badly broken game was not only in the works, but imminent at any time. Needless to say, it never happened.



So, based purely on past experience, plus of course the complete absence of an official statement from EA/Bioware stating that a patch is in the offing, I wouldn't be holding my breath waiting for a result, if I were you.



And before you ask, yes, 360 user here as well.

I finally got a reply from EA, but I have read this 5 times.. I see no answer at all in here! This is just ridiculous, I just wanted a simple answer, yet I read yesterday there is MORE DLC coming out? Yet no word at all of a patch? All I can say is thank god so far Bethesda seems to still do quality work.

Is there any ETA on a patch for the 360 version of this game? There are many very annoying bugs I would like to see fixed.. Just looking for some type of ETA!

Just sent DA:O email support an email asking if they will be patching the "Captured!" quest because as of right now, my main character is stuck kneeling the floor and there's no way that I can get him to pop up and continue the quest.

Honestly all we are asking for at this point is some kind of reply from bioware as to an upcoming patch to fix the rogue dex bug among other bugs and glitchs.It seems to me that the PC forums get replyed to 24/7 while we are left to twittle our thumbs and wonder if we got swindeled from our money.I sont understand how this game graphiclly looks as bad as it does?I have heard the excuse from other PC gamers that "oh its because of the size of the game"really?Im pretty sure oblivion is just as big a game and the graphics are superior to dragon age AND oblivion is 4 years old!Explain that one.

You are EXACTLY right. When I posted this that is ALL I wanted! A simple answer with an ETA.. If this were some no name company I made a gamble on instead of Bioware I wouldnt have bothered.. But I honestly did not expect to be completely ignored. I mean I even posted the "Reply" I got from EA, which was obviously a copy and pasted form response, in terrible english.. And my question wasn't even answered! So yeah thats a dead end..

As an example when I played Two Worlds I never bothered asking them when they were going to patch the game, but I honestly thought Bioware took more pride in their work than this, I can see now I was wrong.

The funny thing is when I say Bethesda was doing Fallout 3 I was pissed.. I thought Biowares style would have been a much closer fit to the style of the old games.. But having played the game now, and seeing how far Bioware has fallen into the gutter I am SO glad they didn't get their hands on that game!

Right now I am not picking up ME2 when it comes out, I'll  still play it, but I'll pick it up used off Gamestop or CL, if it's anything like DA I won't have to wait long.

Not to mention 2H swords to be on par with the PC version.

I want them to fix the glitch with the election ion orzammar where you cant elect anyone. it is stopping me from going any farther in the game. ive literaly done everything else.



But i was talking to them and they basicly said there is no information and it sounded like they were just putting us off and that they wernt working on any of the problems. they should be fixing these problems!
