Hey guys,

I'm kind of a tactics newb. I'm on my second playthrough now and I want to get more involved with them, though. Specifically I'm looking for ways to target enemy mages and sic my archer on them. So far the only thing I've found is enemy > using magic attack, though; and unless I'm missing something, that only works when they cast spells. Wastes time if they spend seconds before casting.

Any suggestions? Surely there's a better way to do it.

You mean 'enemy: target class: mage'? It seems like it could work out okay for an archer to use that tactic. It doesn't target mages all the time though. Sometimes it'll target archers, with a spell for example, when there are no mages around.

I have Leilana set to target nearest visible Mage and use Arrow of Slaying as her first tactic. Any battle that involves a Mage involves a ~300 damage one hit kill within seconds.
