I beheaded her in one of my saves by the Urn.

How did she get better?

As such, I conclude that, Lelianna is not human.

But what?

It's not like she is next to an urn full of magic healing ashes or anything...

The urn was tainted and her heads off! How do you heal that? Posted Image

You mean the one whose power has been desecrated and stolen by a high dragon?  That one?

Come on now - all those stories she knows.  You think she just read them in some book?  And remembered them all?

Maybe it had something to do with her vision. That's my theory

Right.

It's mildly odd that dreams work as first aid...

Someone posted this link on another thread -

The Thedas version of a miracle? Perhaps Leliana is moving toward the equivalent of sainthood.

Think about it - did Leliana ever get sick?  Once?

And think of what she says when she's about to die in game:  "I hate this part".

Makes ya think, don't it?

The second you killed her, your game of DA:O became nothing but a fever dream of the Wardens.

The beheading is nothing but a "cool finishing move". It is not a flag for the game to recognize. All the game recognize is that you "killed" her by a generic stab in the gut, or fireball to the face.

Leliana is beyond what the mortal mind can comprehend.

I wouldn't take 'beheading' at face value, since it's a reflection of game mechanic. A random finishing move. Did the warden kill her? Perhaps, but the head didn't have to come off.

If she 'died', she died in a strange place full of supernatural powers.

Oghren (if he's with you) comments how it smacks of lyrium.
You encounter numerous ghosts there, which could indicate the Veil at the temple is very, very thin.
Or even that perhaps those ghosts are fade spirits.

If I had to vager a guess, I'd say something from the fade was looking after her.

This. And it does seem as if dear Leli is finally getting her due as a fully fleshed out, fascinating character. (She was shamefully neglected in DAO. Just compare her to Morri) I like this touch of mysticism. It surely is fascinating and I hope that future installments will explain it further.;)

Same way she would every other time -- after fight was over, she got up with a wound that injury kit took care of.

Agreed, so long as they don't go the "she was a spy all along and she played the Warden" angle.  If they do, I will cut her.
