The King Alistair bug has never been fixed, sadly.

I think the patches are causing some of these bugs.

Until yesterday I cleared my patches and I found ou that Sten has dialogue about QUnari children and al-Vashoth

ALlistair gives the pre-battle speech and tells the soldiers to fight bravely for your future King Cousland.

Once I reinstall the patches these events never triggered

The best is when the Warden is married to King Alistair.  Who kneels before their spouse?  Talk about whipped...

I believe that was exactly the moment my wife threw Awakening in the corner. She was mad about that whole scene.

Gaider said there is something about Leliana we don't know yet.

Sooo.... either she is a saint herself... or Andrastes second coming, blessed by the Maker and immune against beheading by some random heathen like the warden. She was send by the maker to reform the chantry and lead Thedas into a new golden age! Prepare it for the Makers return, when he decends from the heavens (after abandoning his cover as Sandal) and ****slaps Flemeth.
Blessed be the Maker! Let him hear the chant of light from all over Thedas!

Hehe. Making the story up as you go, just like the new Battlestar Galactica, eh? Worked totally awesome! Just look at the ending! ... Posted Image

I always knew that number seven wasn't male and wasn't boxed. She just traveled to Thedas and brought the faith about the Maker/God with her.

Leliana = Andraste = Number Seven

The High Dragon is actually really Andraste reborn and that's how Leliana "got better".

Varric made it all up!!! DAO was a framed narrative too!

I always assumed Leliana was the narrator of Origins.

"And then the Warden chopped my head off" must be her idea of a twist.

How does that explain if you told her to take a hike in Lothering, refusing to let her join you?

She's a sneaky bard and you never noticed her following you about?
Maybe she disguised herself as Sandal?

lol... not bad.  You know, she could have easily bribed Bodhan into letting her hide in his cart of merchandise.  It's not like the Warden would have picked through every bit of clothing and linens.

That's my guess. Mr. Gaider doesn't get to say what all goes into a game, story-wise. I wish he wouldn't be so mysterious, makes it seem like he doesn't actually know what is going on, and he has to pretty much make it up on the fly.

It's possible he just doesn't want to spoil plot for future releases. I wouldn't.

It can't be an important plot point, since I doubt Leliana dies in more than 1 in 10 playthroughs.

Leliana is a sweet croissant with strawberry jam in it.

...Is that the relevant answer?

If you are into DnD, I would think she'd be the Dragon Age equivalent of a "Favored Soul".

Hmm, interesting. Didn't the Guardian of the Urn call Leliana out though on her visions and such? You got the impression from what he said that Leliana's visions weren't so Divine, and you she was just some crazy hot psycho bard chick, and not someone touched by the Maker.

As far as I can see, the Guardian reads the doubts which are in your own mind and confronts you with them - I don't think he has any special knowledge beyond that.  What the guardian's comments show is that Leliana isn't totally confident in her own visions - which is shown in other dialogues too.
That's actually why I don't think Leliana can be called crazy.  She had a dream.  Being a very religious person she interpreted it as a vision from god, and the rose she found in the garden as a miracle which confirmed it, but she's not really sure.  She follows it ultimately because even if it's not from Him it leads her to what do what is right - and perhaps also because she's bored and needs to return to the world.  That's all quite rational really.
