I am lucky I didn't have any major bugs to start with- still no reason as to why, but 3 playthroughs and all is well. The MASSIVE fix update, was implemented on my machine Sunday 4/17. Three megabytes. I got auto attack! NOT. It doesn't work. I hope the tiny update helped those with player issues. MAJOR fix? For what?

Good luck...my game is going into official retirement unless some massive DLC is ready for this half-assed game. What the hell. Sixty bucks for a few hours of learning every stone in a game and some serious bloodshed.

Did you go to Gameplay options and turn auto-attack on?

No seriously, it works just like it did in Origins. You just need to check it in the option menu under the gameplay option.

I've not really been impressed with the patch from what I've read. Then again I am biased because it didn't fix the quest I wanted it to, hur hur.

Der...duh...no sh*t, saw the update info in the X-Box update from BioWare, and let's see, auto-attack. Where my player- toggled on or off and press a, stands like a golem from the deep roads. The FIX WAS 3 MEGS...HELLO? The clock fix STILL IS NOT WORKING, the calender day (sucks to see it in day/month/year, thanks guys) is fine, clock is wrong, but WTF...just a heads up to the ones WITH brains and less ego. (Just how many megs does a patch take? Less than a simple MP3?) FAIL.

Wouldn't worry about it too much, I predict expensive DLC regardless.

Just so you know, you can't compare PC patches with xbox 360 patches. The 360 has a patch size limit on 5-6Mb, yeah... It sucks, but for the most time everything gets inside of the little size, and sometimes they dont. Some developers puts out updates on the DLC front just because of this.

And by the way, the clock works just fine too, sort of. It took me a 2 hours playthrough with some manual saves until it was right though.

For the auto attack problem, you are the first person i've seen with this problem after the patch. It doesn't mean it can't happen of course, but in your first post you did not tell me what the problem is other than it doesn't work, which is false.

Overall, regarding the patch, I'm fairly content. Thumbs Up/Seb's bug and the major exploits were my biggest issues, and auto-attack's working fine and dandy for me.

Re the saves and time stamps; does anyone actually use auto-save? If possible, it's the first thing I turn off in a game.

I am quite happy with the patch, as I was very excited for this game and can now actually play it. I'll play through the game a 2nd time in the summer when (hopefully) everything - import issues!, broken quests - are fixed.

After all, I just picked up both the Mass Effect games so I'll have lots to play after this initial playthrough. ;)

Auto-attack is actually faster than if I hit A myself. Kind of strange, really.

Auto-attack was a godsend. Playing a duel-wielding rogue was infinitely more enjoyable.

...and all this time I though gamers had higher IQ's.

And for the other idiots, the auto attack fails, the clock is f*cked, and I have has MASSIVE updates on X-BOX up to a Gig in size. So there you go. And if you do not like the name, grow up. I was playing RPGS' when you were playing with your Ken dolls. (This does not apply to the ladies. ) Masters of ego, you haven't a clue.

The patch, for me- was a waste. Nice toggle for auto-attack. Looks good. ENJOY! I prefer mass button-skull-crushing anyhow, I did 3 playthroughs with it. Damned teens and less than 30-somethings. Go outside and lose some weight.

Master of Ego, i guess that's me huh? I think you dont understand what i'm saying. What i meant by patch size limit is that one patch for a game has a limit on 4-6Mb when released on xbox live to the public, It's compressed. not the update cache on your system.
If you played Dragon Age Awakening on the 360 before you would know that some armor and weapons didn't have proper textures? well this was never fixed due to this limitation.
Official quote by Victor Wachter:
Unfortunately, we are unable to fix the issues concerning these armor sets and the Vigilance Sword. Due to various limitations surrounding what we can and cannot patch concerning DLC content, very strict limits in the size of console title updates, and the state of some of the assets we attempted to implement, we regret to inform you that these items will not be fixed at this time.

If you do have proof over your so called 1Gb patches and updates on xbox 360 games, please share them to me, and if you have trouble finding them, well dont worry, because they dont exist.

Definently a troll, firstly I dont believe that during the 3 playthroughs that you didnt come across ANY issues I find that hard to believe.
Also secondly you say the game is half-assed AND that for your 60bucks you got a few hours out of it, well you clearly said 3 playthroughs now I know it takes more than a few hours to beat the game but 3 playthroughs? Thats a lot more than a few hours.

I've put over a 150hrs into the game and sure it's not perfect but the developers tried something different and as ME3 is looking to be what we have been asking for I am sure DA3 will be up to scratch. I now know why with a number 2 title Bioware try a different approach and then fix things for the third, a 2 is more like a go-between gives them a chance to see what we think.
