Okay, so ME2 was full of all sorts of recruiting and loyalty-gaining shenanigans (and to a lesser extent, so was ME1).  Over the course of the series, you've gotten to know your crew and potential allies quite well.  After all you (or your Shepard) has been through, who would you/he/she trust with his/her/your life?  Take a bullet for?  Get a beer with?  If none of them have, who's at least earned your (Shepard's) respect?

TRUST: Jacob, Garrus, Hackett, Liara, Wrex, Anderson, Kaidan, Ashley, the Normandy's crew.

RESPECT: Samara, Thane, Miranda, Mordin, EDI, Legion (thought hard about this one and realized I actually feel comfortable with a geth watching my back).

WARY OF: Kasumi and Zaeed (they're hired crooks, even if Kasumi's a good person and Zaeed has years of experience), Jack and Grunt (they're kind of loose cannons, so I'm not keen on letting tem run off on their own).

TAKE A BULLET FOR: Tali, Garrus, Liara, Joker, Chakwas.

GET A BEER WITH: Anyone willing except those I do not trust below, simply because they may use my imminent ibebriation against me, and I don't mean in something as innocent as taking goofy pictures.

NO WAY IN HELL: Morinth, TIM, Udina.

--Side note: I do trust everyone enough to do thier jobs, at least, and do not expect any of them to stab me in the back.  The ones I'm wary of, however, might cause trouble while I'm not looking.--

In terms of trust, Shep trusts them all in terms of completing the mission at hand. For this list, I just included the ones who Shep would trust beyond the scope of a suicide mission to save the galaxy. In terms of taking a bullet, I'm assuming you mean a bullet that's definitely going to kill. If it's just a regular bullet, Shep'd take one for any of the squaddies.

Respect: All of them.

Wary of: Everyone not in the trust list.

Joker, Garrus, Tali, Chakwas I all trust unequivocally. They all proved their loyalty to me from previous experience as well as agreeing to work with me again with Cerberus.

Hackett too, by always having faith that I'm doing the right thing. What a BAMF: request denied.

Jacob I trust in the sense that I don't think he'd ever turn on me, I still can't guage what he is though or what his motives are. Piece of work is what he is.

Liara I trust... for now. But she's in a position of great power and responsibility, and that can get in even the best person's head. I think she'll be alright, but I wouldn't take it for granted.

The VS takes a hit for the Horizon crap. Trust is a two-way street, and what he/she said there shows gross mistrust. I would trust them, but I can't trust that they do to me.

Samara seems to have my back since I never do anything real dishonorable and I helped her kill Morinth, she has said that she'll be there for me if I ever need her help. I still worry about having her with me while I'm doing as much as taking money out of wall safes though. I hate her stupid code.

Jack I mostly trust because of, well.. . Still, hard to fully get behind someone not completely mentally stable.

Miranda I feel like I shouldn't trust, but I don't see reason not to. She seems to really move away from Cerberus once the suicide run is finished, and I don't see any motive for her to turn on me. Ditto that Kasumi.

Grunt I trust, actually. Sounds weird, but I do. Kid respects the hell out of me and seems to know that I'm not to be messed with. As long as he's serving with me I really am not concenred about him.

Cerberus crew I don't trust, because I don't know a lot of them personally. They mostly seem like good folks, but there could always be an "informant" type in there working for some information broker or sort.

I never trusted TIM. I knew what he was from the second I saw him, and I hadn't even played ME1 or knew what the hell "Cerberus" even was.


Everyone else, I have mixed feelings about. Basically trust them, but have slight reservations here and there.

My first playthrough Miranda was on the Wary list. After she told Illusive Man to get lost, she joined Tali, Garrus, Kaidan Mordin, Wrex and Ashley on my TAKE A BULLET FOR, team. Kaidan and Ashley have been briefly moved onto the RESPECT list, Horizon hurt just a little. The level of loyalty they displayed to Shepard in ME1 keeps them off the Wary Of list. Me3 should see them back where they belong

Instinctually I trust them, but I also know there are certain circumstances where they could be dangerous. So if I saw something suspicious, I'd check it out.

I trust them to do their jobs and not be crazy, but that's about it.

WARY OF: Zaeed, Jack, Miranda
Miranda was too quick to excuse what Cerberus did to Jack. Makes her morals questionable. Jack and Zaeed are admittedly amoral.

GET A BEER WITH: Everyone but Samara, Morinth, and Udina. I like Samara fine, but she's more of a tea friend than a beer friend. Morinth and Udina can get stuffed. (Also, my Shepard favors bourbon rather than beer, but that's a technicality. Furthermore, TIM has got to have access to some freaking Epic single malts. Do. Want.)
