Obviously its going to be in ME3 but my question is can you guys make it optional. I may be weird but I find Regen health kinda tedious it feels like an excuse to get away with cheating and leaves no memorable moments like in older games when you remember parts of levels based on nearly dying and having to get creative. I would like the option to revert to the old ME1 health style as well or just an old fashion health where you actually had to save health to heal.

If this is done please do not copy Halos idea of half and half thats incredibly annoying. I'm asking this because I replayed through both games and had more memories of the first game then the second because I nearly died in impossible and had to really get creative. But ME 2 I only remember the story and one level because I got stuck there god knows how many times but thats it 1 compared to dozens in the first game. Look is there a way you can remove it or make it optional.

I may be shot down and attacked by trolls here. But I liked the way old games were I am just sick of seeing Regen health and cover based combat everywhere. I know you guys already confired cover based so could you at least give us an optional mode which removes Regen and makes us actually have a use for medigel. And if you do this mode make the shields recharge like they did in the first game. Not the half and half halo method of instashield and slow health

The mechanic might be tied to or amplified by armor mods. I think that's as far as they will take it though. Having regenerating health or not influences the entire level and enemy design (gameplay-wise not how they look). Things could probably be adjusted to suit both mechanics but the results are usually better if you only have one such mechanic to design for.

What I am trying to say is that there will most likely be regenerating health by default that can probably be amplified with armor mods.
