I don't think it's worth it to put in anything. Went with Bianca last time and still didn't notice much difference. Anyway you get bettter runes in act 3.

I agree with Sabotin, best weapon is Bianca. The knockback effect helps him handle foes, and as a 2-handed warrior you should focus on Primeval Rune and Devastation Rune yourself in Act III.

Knockback isn't that useful IMO. I never thought of using it in Bianca, but that sounds like a good idea.

I give it to bianca, or just bin it. Its not terribly useful.

I placed onto Bianca as well and I too saw little effect
SPOILER
Best combo I found for 2h sword in ACT III was Sword of Mercy with the Lyrium speed rune and Rune of Devastation.

Oh wow, I meant Primeval rune, sorry, I mix that up with Sandal's rune that he gives you. Ok, so, Sandals rune gives KB so give that to Bianca, ok.

Well for the primeval rune you best put it on some end game gear. Like suggested Blade of Mercy (if you don't give it to whatshisname). Or Bloom and Celebrant (might require some weapon switching for immune mobs) have potential to be even better. Think there was a thread somewhere about best 2-h weapon, look for that.
Anyway, primeval rune goes in the last weapon you'll ever use.

There some threads discussing this to a certain extend:
Best weapons of each type
Berserker Vanguard - Mach-5 Massacre (Nightmare Guide)
In my latest playthrough, where I played a burst based 2-handed warrior (Reaper / Templar), I ended up using a combination of Bloom with 2 Runes of Frost and Blade of Mercy with the Rune of Devastation and Primeval Rune. Blade of Mercy was my generel weapon of choice, and then I switched it out for Bloom when fighting the High Dragon, Orsino, and Meredith.

Dunno what those threads say, but my vote goes to Celebrant. A spirit damage weapon + % Spirit gear on a Reaver/Templar is the best option I've found. Silly me for giving Varric the idol shard on my first run... I had no idea what it would become if you kept it. Sorry Bianca...

I'd vote for Bloom. Two things, mostly: elemental damage ignores Armor ratings, which means that unless the enemy is immune to cold, elemental damage > physical damage. The second thing is that it's seriously easy to stack +Cold% gear. You will get a major damage increase if you stack your gear. Dura's Blue Flame is already +10%, then if you go with Robes of Unblemished Cleanliness that's another +24%, then you can use +Cold% rings and stuff and you end up with some super good damage.
I believe IN1 achieved some ridiculous single-attack damage output using Bloom and stacking gear this way. I also think the concept of a Chantry sister/brother (hey, it's all in the robe) wielding a massive axe is a hilarious proposition, so that's all the more of a reason to vote for it.

I always put it in Bianca. End game, the best two handers are elemental, so you switch between them as opponents' resistances demand. If you use Varric as your rogue, he uses Bianca 100% of the time.
