This is more of a question/request for clarification regarding something "fixed" in the 1.01 patch. I'm not really sure which thread this belongs in but since this is supposed to be the one report problems after installing the recent patch, I'm doing this here. I read that the Isabella/Sebastian friendship bug was supposed to be fixed in the 1.01 patch, that while it didn't retroactively correct damage already incurred it prevents future damage and should prevent the bug from ever implementing in the first place. I had a replay set aside for when this patch finally kicked in. It is specifically right before Isabella's quest in Act II where you go to retrieve her relic and she will abandon your group regardless of your actions.
I tried to play this quest after installing the patch, but once she leaves I still seem to be getting Isabella's friendship thumb's up icon in my abilities. From what I read in previous threads, this associated with what initiates the bug (that if you save after Isabella's forced removal and load that game, it keeps removing her bonus, as usually when you remove her yourself, she takes the thumb's up speed boost with her and it is gone from your abilities rather than still appearing there like during forced removals). I did this twice, restarting my PS3 once just in case, and the thumb's up icon always appears on my abilities once Isabella abandons me. If I save and reload the game, it is also still there. I don't know any way to tell if this is effecting my attack speed at all. To be honest, I'd rather not put hours into the game to find out my speed is progressively being removed by 5 points and stacking to slow me down to unplayable levels. Therefore, is the appearance of the thumb's up icon no longer associated with the previous Isabella/Sebastian bug? Is there any way to check that I am not being punished every time I load without Isabella in my party? I suppose regardless, the icon remaining after a forced removal when the party member it is a bonus for is no longer in your group is still a bug, though a less important one if it isn't affecting game play.
