I've been playing since the patch was released, I'm seeing some major improvements It feels good to be finally able to lock on individuals so I can use my talents.
The find and fetch quests have been fixed, well they seem to. I'm playing ACT I, I'll see if it's the same throughout all the Acts.

playing since release and have had no freezing issues from a game that was freezing every five minutes.my attack speed has also gone up and i'm not seeing any glitches.

It seems you don't need to start another game in order for the Patch to work properly, Older saves have also been affected.
Haste seems to lasting much longer than it did before.
Dog is following the team now.
The Isabella friendship speed boost is working fine.
Zevran rejects Isabella when romancing the warden.

I have a question though, It seems romances have indeed been fixed. But I haven't seen any reference to the romance with Morrigan and the warden, when talking to flemeth. Is this non existant?

Seems they've fixed a great deal. And for that Im greatful. Would also like to mention that my item dupe exploit still works (Same one that existed in Origins that was also never fixed lol) and for that, Im even more greatful. So all in all, today is a good day

Just an update the EPIC trophy is still unobtainable even if you had beaten the game twice, or 3 times.

Really?  Did you not import any DA:O data?  If not, perhaps that's the trigger for the bug because I got it just fine after my first playthrough with my imported data.

Update:- The patch has not stopped the freezing.  I just froze in the docks, while casually walking.
In fact in some areas it's more choppier than before.

@Dragon I'm assuming so, I haven't downloaded sebastians DLC yet, due to the fact I don't want to kill anders overh him. But seeing as zevrans was mentioned, I think hers might aswell.

No I did not import the data, but it says you can get it by completing the game twice. It is a known bug for a long time now.   Regardless of how many times you finish the game the trophy will not appear it seems.

No I did not import the data, but it says you can get it by completing the game twice. It is a known bug for a long time now.   Regardless of how many times you finish the game the trophy will not appear it seems.

Ouch, blows they didnt fix that then

Edit: Seems they didnt fix the dialog wheel bug either.  A minor annoyance but still, that one was at the top of my "wish to fix" list.

Okay I've just frozen Three times now. Sorry Bioware but I'm deleting this patch, which renders my playable charecters useless. This is typical....

It has been more than a month, almost 2 months soon. Yet you guys are not allowing anyone without a DA:O save on PS3 to obtain the Platinum Trophy. This is extremely ridiculous, I bought the game on the launch day and thinking I could do some Trophy marathon on it. Very disappointing.

I finished a second playthrough after downloading the patch, and I got the Epic trophy. And I don't have any DA:O data on my PS3.

did you restart a new playthrough? or did you resume from a final boss save?

I actually started freezing since starting the patch. Never happened to me pre-patch...

I had just started The Last Straw before I istalled the patch, so I was finishing a playthrough I started a few weeks ago.

This pre-patch I only froze once, after patch I froze three times in under an hour. My console is in a well roomed area, it's not overheating and its cold here. There is no reason for it to freeze, especially when Hawke is just stood there, doing nothing.

I believe you can get the epic trophy as long as you pick different starting senarios when choosing your background. A lot of people have said this got them the epic trophy when they didn't have a DA:O save.

The Epic trophy is working, for some of us. One being myself. In origins I was a mage, completed that moved my warden to awakening, finished that, SKIPPED Golems, and then finished with witch hunt, by doing that everything In my game is correct, including romances.
So when I Finished my first play through of DAII I was able to get the trophy.

Please display some reading comprehension. Some of us might want to hear about fixes that Luke didn't mention in his other thread while we're stuck at work all day. He posted a link to the thread where you can post about bugs that still exist...go there if you're still having issues...
