I'm guessing the slash fiction isn't lining up with the current visuals.

There are already mods on dragonagenexus that change this characters face and make him younger.  With so much effort spent in this forum [requesting] such a specific mod, you'd think a little time spent on dragonagenexus wouldn't be out of the question...

Well, it wouldn't make any sense to make Danarius look any "younger" or "prettier", considering who he is, what he does and how long he has been around. Well, been around based on stories, his actual appearance is so brief that there would be no point to spend time really to make a mod for him. If there are any then Nexus may have them, but really, for 30 to 40 seconds appearance and crappy loot what he gives, he's not worth the time.

Out of a misguided attempt to get you to try and make it yourself, or at the very least participate in the process.

Sighing and waiting for someone to randomly sate your hidden desires is really working out for you, so far.

Hell, why not just download the one that DOES replace Danarius, extract the Danarius erf with pygff, and learn the proper file name for his MORPH.  Or look it up, there's a list floating around too...

Then download a DA2 face you DO like (funny thing, it being your PERSONAL PREFERENCE you're asking someone else to satisfy). Extract its erf, rename the morph to replace Danarius', package it up and use it.

Or the dozens of others on the nexus.


Make a little effort beyond a [request] thread, especially when what you're asking for is a matter of personal taste, moreso than functionality.

If your desire is really so specific then you have no other option than to follow the the guides available and learn to do it yourself.

made with exactly the method I described above, from Hadezown's noble sebastian morph available on dragonagenexus.



See that young, brunette fellow performing the part of Danarius' this evening?

I downloaded both morphs, extracted both erfs with pygff editor, renamed sebastian's head morph to that of danarius'. Made a new folder named pedants_rule, put my new danarius morph inside, dragged the folder to erfpack and dropped my new pedants_rule.erf file into my override folder.

I guess you could just look at my screenshot whenever that scene rolls around in your next play through.

As long as you don't make Hawke have Danarius's face and then romance Fenris. Thats about as bad as the Shianni/Vaughn morphs I saw for DAO. *shudders*

Nah I'm pretty much done with the game.
All the npcs look like hell wish i could get my money back.

They're not the best models I've seen but they're still quite good in DA2 so I see no problem personally. All can't have smooth baby boy faces with barely any beard anyway, that would be already weird. Look around in real life, you'll see more ugly mugs then in both Dragon Ages combined. It's just life And compared to life Dragon Age models are very nice. And Danarius specifically looks just the part - old crazy wizard with weird obsession for young elven boys with glowing tattoos.
