So, my ME1 box mentions PC-exclusive content involving Batarians . . .

Other than that brief mention on the box, I've found NOTHING involving Batarians, other than in the Codex.  The strange thing is, there is a second DVD that I was never prompted to install, and simply says "Disc 2" on it.  However, from what I've gathered, there is only one side mission involving Batarians, but I searched and couldn't find where I originally read that.

What am I missing?

They're probably referring to the Bring Down the Sky DLC, which is not actually PC exclusive, but is free for the PC game and costs MS points to download on XBox.

Put the second disc in and see if the following file is on it: MassEffect_BDtS_ES_a.exe, or really any form of setup file. I bought the boxed version myself but it only had one disc, so your second disc most likely contains the Bring Down the Sky DLC.

I popped in Disc 2, but all that was on it was the same autorun menu as Disc 1, and documentation for about six different languages. I ended up downloading BDtS, and hopefully will get around to trying it out tonight.

That's rather bizarre. Well, at least you can have a Mass Effect frisbee without losing the install disc :D

From what I know only the Platinum Edition contains Bring Down the Sky in a disc.

Well, at least on Xbox, don't know about PC, but why wouldn't have a Platinum Edition for PC too?

I can't really find a "platinum" edition for the PC, but if the only difference between platinum and the regular version is the inclusion of BDtS, then there's not really need for a PC Platinum Edition since all PC versions already include it's ownership (despite the need to actually download it).
