I vote Kasumi and Aria...in fact I wouldn't be surprised if Aria does become a potential in ME3....Have played ME1 & 2, both repeatedly and though my Shep always with Tali...he's been eyeing off Kasumi with heart on his sleeve from the moment she appeared.

If I were given the option to romance Kasumi, I'd feel like all the choices I could possibly want are now at my door step. I already feel spoiled, though, but regardless I'll probably end up going for Tali in most playthroughs. The stuff on the flotilla just tears me up big-time.

From a broader perspective, though, I sincerely hope (as evidenced by my signature) that they add at least one male/male romance for the finale. It's seriously overdue. Either Garrus or Kaidan, really.

As for female Shepard, characters we know and should get a chance with are Joker, Joker and... Joker. And then throw in a female/female relationship to even things out. Ashley or Tali, maybe?

I love Tali, but do worry about her immune system, am really hoping that doesn't back fire on Shep, thats my one concern for her...I find the other LI possibilities for ManShep all too ruthless for my paragon dude.

As for Joker...great idea, but wouldn't FemShep break him? 

And yep, it would be great if BW didn't cow-tow to the 'stick up their a**' lobby groups and added same sex LI possibilities to the mix, for those thus inclined.

I am in complete agreement. Shepard doesn't have time for that kind of stuff.

They really... don't, though. FFVI, FFVII, FFVIII, Xenogears, FFT, Tactics Ogre... the list goes on. The thing is, those are all JRPGs. Maybe -- unsurprisingly -- it's a Western thing.

As for the whole 'Shepard has no time' thing, I would tend to find myself agreeing overall but there are limits to the human psyche. A little nonsense is cherished by the wisest men. That and it's a staple, anyway.

Given that there are already 9 LIs and a good chance that all will show up in some major capacity in ME3.. I think it's asking a lot of the writers to not only give equal treatment to the current LIs but to also write in new ones. This is the conclusive arc of the story, probably not the best time to introduce Shepard to someone totally new and also develop a deep and meaningful relationship with them. There will be very little time for romance as it is, let's not dilute things further for the sake of it.

So we get a new batch of squad members. Shep ends up shagging yet another new person. At this point will the reapers have to even worry about Shep? He's going to have 3 or 4 jilted lovers on his combat squad, ready to frag him, including his new love interest when she/he finds out he goes through "true loves" on a monthly basis.

007 moves on, he doesn't have all his conquests being his back up and squad members. He be dead if all his lovers were in the same room carrying guns and grenades:)

Enough of the love interests, put all the thought into ending this series well, and do the existing romances great justice, don't add 6 more to the mix.

I hope they dont. This is the end of the trilogy, it should be about wraping things up, getting more indepth into the intercharacter relationships (not just the romance), and giving closure.

Have the current LI's romanceable for those new to the franchise, and for those of us who have been here from the start give us a good conclusion to the romances! (lookingforward to the LI confrontation in ME3!)

Also I want more dialogue with the LI's (and also the rest of the squad/camios)!! Also squad banter!!

What I hope they do, instead of introducing all brand-new Love Interests, is just make old love interests available to newcomers.

Then new people still get the option to pursue romances, and the devs just have to flesh out a few dialogues for set up instead of creating entirely new characters. New characters which would undoubtably hog up more time because they'd need their own backstories, dialogue for other situations, class balancing, etc. etc.

I imagine if they did go that route, they'd only make the original LI's (from ME1) available for new romances, since they're the only ones semi-guaranteed to have survived ME2.



I also think there's plenty of time for romance in this situation. Shepard's love life isn't eactly going to movies and having fancy dinners. He/She bonds in battle (gonna be plenty of that) and through conversations on the ship. You'll need something to do while flying from homeworld to homeworld recruiting races!
Might as well talk to that special someone.

Honestly for formal LI I'd say no. I would rather focus on my ME2 LI development then get a new crewmember to bang.

To me Parasini and Shaila seem like they want to have a fling with Mshep Shaila outright hits on him saying come by Feros and see me when you're not doing whatever it is you do. I wouldn't mind either of these girls being a fling option and depending on how shep arranges the meet up LI will find out about it or not. To avoid getting caught you have to arrange to meet them in a more quiet location and not public then you meet them. If you meet them in a public place like the docking bay then LI will find out.
