IMO the reply to question "What now?" being "It is in the Maker's hands now. We put our faith in him." sounded suspiciously like "I have no ****ing idea. Let's just do nothing and see what happens." (...and this from a Christian.)

...but if you're talking about the lines just before that, I think the one thing they have guaranteed in common: Flemeth.

*suspense!*

I just think it's silly when she says that since she can't locate the Warden and the Champion it must be no coincidence. Why not? Seems very likely it is a coincidence.

The two people that possibly are the best to handle a situation that is shaking Thedas going missing at exactly the same time? ...Sure, that's not a coincidence at all.

The Warden and Hawke are both larger than life characters in Thedas. One saved the world from an evil that had almost destroyed the world 3 times before near single handedly and the other was the catalyst that set off the Mage rebellion that has now threatens to set all of Thedas into war. Being two people that achieved such things, it makes sense that the seekers tried to... seek them out in hopes they could somehow fix it all.

The fact they both disappeared is no coicidence and a very obvious foreshadowing of DA3's plot, where the both of them and possibly a third protagionist are all brought together. For what, I simply cannot say. My guess is that it has something to do with Flemeth and possible Sandal and/or the Warden's God child (This was far too built up in the game to simply by abandoned, who said it had to be the Warden and Morrigan's anyway?). Flemeth is the only real link that these two characters had, they were both saved by her and both were told something along the lines of 'Is it fate or chance?'. Again, I simply don't believe Flemeth rescuing the two people that shook Thedas to it's core is simply a coicidence.

We also have to recall back to what Morrigan said in witch Hunt. Where she does not think Flemeth is truely human and I agree. Flemeth is not merely some abomination or apostate. No, the woman is greater than that, far greater.

I don't think Sandal is tranquil, he's just 'special'. However, I feel he will also pay some huge role in the world of Thedas. Whether in DA3 or a future, unseen game or story or whatever, I just cannot say. Seeing the woman (Flemeth) laughing at him, or his vision about 'the magic returning' is very obvious foreshadowing as well.

Whether there's a connection between Flemeth and Sandal, I cannot say, but they are connected in the sense they all have connections to the Warden and Hawke. That is not chance.

I also feel Morrigan WILL return in DA3 or a future game, or some referance will be made to her. If you freeze frame during the final cutscene, there is a picture of Morrigan in the book Cassandra has. Morrigan also (regardless of the Warden's choice) goes through the mirror, where this mirror leads is uncertain, but agan, I feel this connects to Flemeth or whatever she is planning to do.

Pretty much summed up my entire opinion of what's to come. I think the idol will be central (remember, Meredith IS the idol now) and I believe it has something to do with the darkspawn's blood lust and why the architect didn't have blood lust. I believe perhaps Flemeth has taken the Warden and Hawke 'somewhere' or some grand schemer like the Architect from the Matrix is pulling strings as well as Flemeth ... maybe the maker? Maybe Flemeth's enemy? Either way, i think the warden and hawke have been abducted by the same person. In response to the person saying that because it's a game and leliana says it, it definitely IS NOT coincidence is spot on with what i thought, hence this thread.
