I have two problems with the game:

1. Game starts fine( new game), but if I try to load saved game I get black screen(audio is working, music playing). I can alt+tab to desktop, then alt+tab back to game and then I get normal screen and can play. Any way to solve this minor problem?

2. I have a 23" widescreen monitor, but I use lower resolution than normal and I have to use Image Scaling in Catalyst Control Center.
Problem is that when desktop image scaling is on, ingame image scaling is off and I get a tiny little 800x600 screen in game. If I turn off desktop image scaling off, then ingame image scaling is working. Any way to have both of these working?

problem 1 solved by disabling "frame buffer effects" in graphic options
