After completely deleting everything DA2 off my system,reinstalling,applying patch,starting a new game......all I get to see is the loading screen with the two statues and the swirling chains around the logo.The HDD light just quits flashing.
WTF??????????

It sounds to me like your ps3 is having a hard time reading and recognising the game data

I have the same issue, have since the game was released. Patch 1.01 has done nothing. Time for a refund Bioware.

For the record, DAO worked find, and GT5 is flawless, unlikely to be the PS3 hardware.
