The load-time increases being reported in the beta are apparently lengthier (over a minute) and appearing more quickly (within the first hour of play) than those in 1.04. Memory footprint remains essentially unchanged during that period which rules out a traditional memory leak as the likely culprit. We're continuing to investigate but don't have a lot of progress to report at this point.
Hope that clarifies,
Rob

Just so you know we're alive: we've been actively pursuing this and it's very elusive. I'll be contacting people this week for some additional log files and config tool reports. Apologies for the radio silence, I typically try to keep everyone updated but there hasn't really been much to say.
Rest assured we are trying to get this resolved as soon as possible.

I just wanted to chime in again and confirm that work on Patch 1.05 is continuing. Changing the DLC authentication code has proven to be a significant challenge but we're getting close. We'll be releasing a new build to the private beta group today that we believe addresses the core problems with the current 1.05 beta. If that goes well, we'll roll it out as a public beta and start working to make it official.
In short, although we've faced a lot of distractions on the DA2 side, work is continuing and we haven't forgotten about this thread.
Thanks,
Rob
PS - For those suggesting the Luke and I are the only ones working on the patch, we're just the public face of this effort. I assure you - you wouldn't want either one of us touching code. ;oP
