I don't really know. The song sound extremly sci fi, that's one thing. Also, I think the echoing sound of the song resonates with how large the Citidal is. To put it bluntly, I heard this track and imagined walking around the Presedium.

well, this topic is awesome! i miss the ME1 soundtrack when i play ME2. that blade runner-esque music is gone replaced by forgettable "epic" music. heres a few songs i like that may or may not fit but here they are anyways.

this one would work well durring the suicide mission when your flying into the reaper base dodging asteroids and bustin up that round red laser shootin thing....


id like this one for my paragon shep to play while im standing on top of the dead remains of the last reaper ship, looking off into the distant stars, wondering whos next.....

Why thank you and i understand what you mean about the Tali song, it does sound elfish though. It's a sad song, which could reflect Tali's upbringing.

nice bit for intense scenes

However overall I am not sure it screams mass effect. They sound way too modern. Remember mass effect is supposed to be based on 80's sci fi, but that topic is not for this thread to discuss.

 Shepard, the Normandy and whatever fleet is left exit Charon Relay and during this song and quick flight to Earth, Shepard rallies the troops through comms to this song. At 1:19 in the song, the Reapers meet them in the atmosphere.
