I can Imagine this song playing if an Alliance tank battalion was leading some kind of counter attack against the Reapers during the initial invasion of Earth. Doesn't exactly sound like Mass Effect, but epic and chest pounding. Good song to get you pumped for battle.

How about Don't Fear the Reaper?
It's old, it's used and abused, but it fits every piece of motion picture and video games around there.
They could even stamp it on Super Mario 3, it would still work.
Okay. I've been a long time reader of the forums but never bothered to sign up till reading this thread I just had to sign up and give my imput. Prepare for your mind to be blown lol.
Each song is from the TV show Stargate: Universe which is a really underrated show in my opinion and its sad they cancelled it after only two seasons. Anyway, I remember the first time I heard each song I had chills and thought wow this is so Mass Effect its crazy. Check em out. Hope you enjoy. Also a few of the clips have footage from the show so possible spoilers I guess.
Number 1: Just an epic song and sounds like the perfect final battle theme.
Number 2: Not quite sure where to put this one. Maybe more of a gloomy song after something sad happens.
Theres more I could post but its kinda hard finding vids on youtube that just have the song and no voices or sound effects from the show covering up the music.
I fell in love with the Two Steps From Hell folks when there music was used in the ME2 launch trailer. Listen to this and tell me this isn't perfect for ME3:

My contribution to this thread will be music for exploring the Reaper homeworld, or a location that reveals their origin. A dark and ancient place untouched for millions, maybe billions of years.
Be warned, this is ambient music intended to establish a mood; it's often not properly appreciated through active listening though this track should be brief enough to not seem boring. It's for mystery, exploration, and discovery, not heart-pounding combat action.
You three have produced three worthy ME quality links. Consider yourselves proud and ashamed as it's 5 in the morning here at the moment AND I AM NOT SLEEPING BECAUSE OF YOU

antique_nova wrote... - imagine, Shepard looking at a small fight, then he advances, the camera zooms out and it then shows you that he is heading into a massive battle.
This actually sounds like it would fit into ME. It has fairly similar violin use, and builds up very nicely.
