I can Imagine this song playing if an Alliance tank battalion was leading some kind of counter attack against the Reapers during the initial invasion of Earth. Doesn't exactly sound like Mass Effect, but epic and chest pounding. Good song to get you pumped for battle.

Theme: Fighting

www.youtube.com/watch

Edit: I bet most of you have heard this song, but I have come to the realization that this song perfectly fits Garrus.

Theme: Specific Characters

I see Liara on the back of a Shifty Looking Cow, carrying a little blue baby in her backpack, riding slowly along a desert beach.

How about Don't Fear the Reaper?
It's old, it's used and abused, but it fits every piece of motion picture and video games around there.
They could even stamp it on Super Mario 3, it would still work.

That Ronald Jenkees keyboard tune that someone posted was amazing. He's unbelievable.

Stuff by Two Steps From Hell is usually good for Mass Effect.

Okay.  I've been a long time reader of the forums but never bothered to sign up till reading this thread I just had to sign up and give my imput.  Prepare for your mind to be blown lol.

Each song is from the TV show Stargate: Universe which is a really underrated show in my opinion and its sad they cancelled it after only  two seasons.  Anyway,  I remember the first time I heard each song I had chills and thought wow this is so Mass Effect its crazy.  Check em out.  Hope you enjoy.  Also a few of the clips have footage from the show so possible spoilers I guess.

Number 1: Just an epic song and sounds like the perfect final battle theme.

Number 2: Not quite sure where to put this one.  Maybe more of a gloomy song after something sad happens.

Number 3: Another really good battle type song I think but its a little bit too short.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=703iO3HL5AE&feature=related

Number 4: Another cool song, but not sure where to place it.  Maybe a good theme for a new planet to explore or something.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26mcGUC7NRI&feature=related

Number 5: More epic battle type music.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSGN6zG6jJw&feature=related

Number 6: Surface of the Sun song which someone posted already I think but this has some cool footage from the show to go with it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oliHjqNuNOU&feature=related

Number 7: Another gloomy/sad song.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2RUEqIgoKI&feature=related

Number 8: Cool preparing for battle type song I think.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLyjVN1Usv8&feature=related

Theres more I could post but its kinda hard finding vids on youtube that just have the song and no voices or sound effects from the show covering up the music.

Let me know what you think! :D

I fell in love with the Two Steps From Hell folks when there music was used in the ME2 launch trailer.  Listen to this and tell me this isn't perfect for ME3:

www.youtube.com/watch

The track is called Freedom Fighters

My contribution to this thread will be music for exploring the Reaper homeworld, or a location that reveals their origin. A dark and ancient place untouched for millions, maybe billions of years.

Be warned, this is ambient music intended to establish a mood; it's often not properly appreciated through active listening though this track should be brief enough to not seem boring. It's for mystery, exploration, and discovery, not heart-pounding combat action.

You three have produced three worthy ME quality links. Consider yourselves proud and ashamed as it's 5 in the morning here at the moment AND I AM NOT SLEEPING BECAUSE OF YOU

:P

p.s. will update later, but not now. must sleep.

Brainchild - Symmetry C (Lange Breakbeat Mix)

Sounds pretty epic when playing as an adept/vanguard. Especially 3:15 onward.

I have a feeling this track will be used for the ME3 release trailer. It just fits the theme of desperate defiance so well... :crying:

This actually sounds  like it would fit into ME.  It has fairly similar violin use, and builds up very nicely.

Certain songs from the Red Faction Guerilla OST have that Mass Effect 1 vibe to it especially this one

This song is prefect for driving around in the Mako. I play it quiet often when I am doing so actually. Clint Mansell is a god among composers.

This has a mix of Noveria and a mix of 'the arrival', but i will need time of where to put this on the list.

Not sure about this, i will try listening to it again with a clearer head., It sounds more like Trailer material to me at the moment.
