I put a song on page 2 for last stand, but don't think you ever put it on there.

http://video.google....29436332215845# (My preferred rendition, but poor audio quality and occasional background crowdnoise from the video)
(Don't like this rendition as much, but much better quality.)
This song almost sounds made for ME, I kid you not. It's actually was written about the battle of Troy, but apart from two direct references, it could fit into ME perfectly.
Example lines:
A vanguard to approaching war (Sovereign, even refers to himself as a vanguard) is born upon the sea
The icy breath of cyclones bent on waging our destruction (Reapers) drills hard against the hearts of heroes (Shepard's squad) called here to defend (... By Shepard...)
I see storms (Locust Swarms) on the horizon (Or Horizon...) and a Citadel (... Duh...) alone, leaning brave, defying fate (Reaper destruction...)
... I may have quite definitely put this song on infinite repeat as I played through the Suicide mission. Just a little.
Seriously, though, as whole it's -creepy- how well it fits ME, and it was written long before it.

Sorry, not all of these are YouTube videos. I had to find clips on other sites.
"Agent Orange" could play when you visit the Quarian homeworld. It has the bleak rhythm for the lifeless Geth part, while the melancholic melody for the Quarians.
Maybe a battle? "Never Let Me Down Again (Aggro Mix)"
"Happiest Girl (Jack Mix)" could be used in a club. But don't know which. . . Maybe Flux if it was still open.
And finally, this video has some samples in there that sound Mass Effect-y. Not all of them, but quite a few.
Enjoy!

I really don't know what to relate it to. I can't picture it in ME, but it sounds ME like.
I am not sure that i agree, it feels too Star Wars Bith like? The Death Star disco ball isn't helping me either <_<
Mr Assistant, i felt that only the first song fitted. If that's ok with you. The second song reminded me of Terminator far too much riding a Motorbike with a straw through the countryside XD.
Hellhound. I added the disco/bar fight one, but not the other.
Silmane i added yours.
Sorry to those who posted links that i haven't added, but not everyone including me will agree on other member's perceptions of ME like music. I do my best however to fit it somewhere appropriate.

"
I have my mother's dreams,
I have my father's eyes,
You can't take that from me,
Just go ahead and try.
The crescent city sleeps,
While giants in the sky,
Preparing to unleash,
Let loose a mighty cry.
Can nobody save us?
Will anyone try?
The bayou is burning,
The cypress has died.
And all along they're saying.
Help is on the way
(They said, they said)
Help is on the way
(They said, they said)
One by land, two by sea.
Right there in front of me.
Help is on the way."

Doesn't really fit into any of your categories but I guess it could make a good trailer or end credits song. I find the lyrics and overall epicness of the song to embody Mass Effect, especially the theme of a Reaper invasion coming in ME3. My personal theme for ME.

That's fine. When I posted it, I knew that not everyone would think they would fit. So I'm not surprised. Also, I was kind of trying to think of some songs from the first Mass Effect.
Although, if I had to go with one more Depeche Mode song, it would have to be "It's No Good" for a gritty club like Afterlife. It kind of had a similar atmosphere. Maybe it was the music video that made me think that. . . I actually played this song while I was in Omega to make sure it would fit, and I thought it worked well enough.
I'm just going to list a couple of songs on here. These could (or could not) be used, I suppose. I'm not going to worry too much about making it sound perfect, because I personally don't really think that any song could truly scream Mass Effect unless if it was from Mass Effect. But hey, this is for fun.
"Choke" - Hybrid (General)
"Hello Strings" - Synergy [General (It's eleven minutes long, be prepared)]
"Alt + F4 (Matthew Adams Introspective Mix)" - Alt + F4 [General]
"An Ending (Ascent)" - Brian Eno [Exploring]
"Through The Gates" - Celldweller [Could there be a trailer theme? LOL (General)]
"Subterra" - Celldweller [Exploring and/or Fighting]
"Ursa Minor (Proton Mix)" - Celldweller [Some of it could be used for Fighting]

This gives a feeling of, a squad of marines are protecting a structure with civilians from overwhelming waves of husks (in Earth). They know it is a loosing battle but they are fighting anyway. Check the begining of the music.
Sons of War
Do I need to add anything? It's a epic battle music from the begining to the end. Suits for major ground battle between Earths' defence forces and Reapers.
To Glory
Shep and a large group of marines advancing through the battle field very quickly while fighting the enemy. Check between 0.42 to 2.07.
