Halo Reach - Deliver Hope

I've never played Halo, but when I saw the trailer "Deliver Hope" the music reminded me of Mass Effect - From the Wreckage only without the positive ending song.

From the Wreckage is my favorite song from Mass Effect, I like piano introduction. In Mass Effect 3 I would like to hear something in that spirit.

Aight, I've found the perfect song for the ending that occurs if Shepard ultimately fails at the end of ME3.
MGMT-Lady Dada's Nightmare

But you have to picture what im picturing to get the full effect.

Aight, so the music starts with, well, Shepard failing at whatever he is doing, you basically see him dying and losing to the reapers. After this, you slowly are shown cutscenes of the rest of the universe being destroyed by the reapers, everything being lost, people killed, mass destruction. This cutscene of destruction goes on for the first minute of the song.

Then your shown a cutscene of space and stars, and the camera is lowering down on to a planet that has been ravaged by war brought by the reapers (song is still playing). But the video seems to be slowly picking up pace (with the camera view ground level now) as you see buildings crumple and soon turn to dust and whatever happens years after no ones around.

At around the 1:40 mark (or whenever the drums pick up in the song), you see life restarting itself on the planet, whether it be a squirrel-fish walking out of water or whatever (hopefully you get the point). Cause this part of the song seems to convey a little bit of hope, or rather false hope. And for the remainder of the song the camera view rises back into the sky and space. Only to know that the cycle of the reapers will continue.

And with the view of twinkling stars, the big MASS EFFECT logo pops up as the music slows down to an end.
                         EPIC OR STUPID?????

I think "Four Part Plan" from the Portal 2 OST would be good for fighting an indoctrinated ally. Maybe it's just me but I think it sounds sort of messed-up. Sorry about the lack of link, posting this on my phone.

Song: For Home, Country, and Family from Battle: Los Angeles. Composed by Brian Tyler.

When to use song: All civilizations are gathered, and Shepard starts the mission to retake Earth, starting the deployment of all available assets.

Faxing Berlin - Deadmau5 would be good background music for a bar/lounge area.

Halo Reach OST - Lone Wolf. I couldn't resist, sorry, self admitted Halo fanboy :P. A track with a really visceral sound to it, would be a great fit in a dramatic, desperate moment, just before m (i.e. the opening cinematic of the suicide mission, after they crash).

The Game Has Changed - Tron OST Of Course. ;)

Exodus - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 OST Shepard's just had the odds turned against him/her, and is left in a difficult situation, all seems lost, but there's just enough room left for one final effort for Shepard to beat the odds.

Chuck Soundtrack The synths totally give it a bit of a Mass Effect-ish vibe, makes a good buildup song. Just to throw it out there, let's give a shoutout to Yvonne Strahotski... I mean Strahovski. :P

Is there a reason Why the album M4 by Faunts is not on there?
Sounds very Mass Effect-y to me. Especially M4 Part 2... But that's in the credits of ME 1. So it probably doesn't count.

And also, John Murphy - Sunshine sounds Mass Effect-y. It's like... After the Suicide Mission, or after the Sovereign Battle. Walking out into the Sunset, with war scars and a serious look on his/her face.

Sam Hulick got three songs up on Bandcamp.com and as you all know, he's one of the two artists who made the Mass Effect 1 & 2 soundtracks.

In one album, he writes:
"B-sides from Another Galaxy" is a 2-track album consisting of a couple
pieces of music that were left on the cutting room floor during my work
on Mass Effect 1. I'm releasing these to the public finally!

Also, through December 24th, 2011, 50% of the proceeds will go to Child's Play* - learn more about them at
childsplaycharity.org. Spend more, donate more! On December 25th, 2011, the lump donation will be made.

The success of this project depends on you, so retweet and share this!

*After Bandcamp/PayPal fees.

I still think that Ghost Division with Sabaton would work well as ending song or as a song that plays when you charge into battle.. Or perhaps in a trailer But the use of synths would work well wih Mass Effect.

I mean, imagine this starting up while the credits start rolling.
I actually turned of the sound of ME2 and started this when the credits started once, and damn it fit well! Especially with that ending ;)
