I got the free download code for buying DA2.
Installed fine etc.
Played for a while with a very very very long load time between missions and was really starting to get frustarted with how long it was taking to load.
Now when I load the game it takes forever to get to the load screen and when I try to resume game it just freezes.
anyone else having the this problem?
Game Freezes and slow loading

I see you have integrated gpu which makes the problem.
Your CPU also supports minimum graphic settings as well. But your 8GB DDR2 memory is the best thing in your computer atm, imho.

Did you install DX9.0c that should have come with the game? ME2 specifrically requires that version, as DX11 is not backwards compatible enough for ME2's requirements.
If in doubt, download and install it from Microsofts website. Win7 is capable of running both versions side by side without problems.

Yeah, an actual video card is what you need.

Hi JPC123. While the graphics card will give a fairly poor frame rate it doesn't explain the loading times, which I describe a work around for here (it is a dual core issue):
http://social.biowar...6861142#7151629
That might make it a bit more playable, at least.

thank you for your replies.
1st this is a laptop which runs other games without any problems and so can't put a different graphics card in the machine. 2nd it was a free download where I had got DA2 so DX9c did not install when the game installed so I will look into that. eshrafel I will check out your work around and try that also.
Thank you again.
