I had a companion that was triggering a convo. The first node was set as one time only. If my PC triggered it, the first node fired. If the companion triggered it, the second node (fall through from the "one time only" node) would trigger.
Has anyone else noticed this phenomenon? Is my assessment correct?
When a companion triggers a convo, I think that counts towards triggering "one time only" status

i find that using gtr_speak_node is a safe way to manage triggered convos - it has a lot of fail safes to prevent issues like the one you mentioned.

Yeah, I came to that conclusion as well. Unfortunately, gtr_speak_node does not seem to have a parameter that prevents the greeting from being played. In retrospect, I would have just modified the gtr_speak_node instead of making my own scripts.
