Concept-wise, depends. Warrior who utterly hates mages could make a good Temp/Zerker. One that had a 'bad reaction' (read: understatement) to lyrium withdrawl could go Reaving.
Mechanics wise... well I enjoyed my Templar/Berserker S+S for the few quests I ran her on to see how Templar handled. Haven't tried a Temp/Reaver combo.

Depends on what you want to do?
Reaver is pretty handy in that it will increase your attack speed (after you make a kill) by 30% as well as allowing you to deal a lot more damage when you become injured. E.g. Almost dead + sacrificial frenzy gives you almost 400% damage. i.e. lots of handy passives.
Berserker is nice if you have lots of willpower I guess. It increases the damage of each hit by up to 15% of your total stamina (though each hit uses up stamina). It also allows you to attack 50% faster at the sacrifice of damage resistance. For burst damage I suppose you can stack on adrenalines as well - i think up to 64% extra damage if you stack one every second.
So it depends on what type of templar build and what you intend to do with it really. I would probably go with reaver if you're tanking it as it the damage you receive will help your damage output and there is a talent in there which allows you to heal yourself if your healer is unavailable.
If you're a damage dealer...well I would wonder what you're doing in templar! haha

Templar is alot of active abilities, so running your stamina dry with beserker is counter to the build.
So go reaver imo.

Well, I already have a 2h Berserker/Reaver, plus the Templar bit is for RP concept. Soo, thoughts?

Templar has heavy stamina needs, as does Berserker. They don't go well.

As mr_afk already stated it depends on what you want to do. Personally I cannot fathom a warrior build (any warrior build) without Reaver (and Vanguard but that is not relevant to the discussion) and yes sacrificial frenzy and fervor are just that good. They are multi-purpose talents that will help any type of warrior, whether he is SnS, 2 Hander, tank or damage dealer. Templar on the other hand has a few situational talents (except Holy Smite ofc) and while they are certainly enough demons and mages in the game to justify the specialization, they are in the minority of the total number of enemies, plus as has been stated, activated abilities (especially templar ones) are counterproductive to berserker.

Actually berserker/templar is'nt that much of a mismatch. You'll play like a normal auto-attacking berserker but you have a few talents to give you an edge againts mages (silence and cleanse) and an aoe (holy smite).
With deathblow you basically will have a constantly full stamina (againts trash mob) anyway, and you will probably only use templar's talent once in a while in a fight.
Don't invest in 50% magic resist passive as it will reduce the duration of any buff you have on you.
Anyway go Berserker if you want to be auto attacking most of the time. But if you want to utilize your activated talents more go with Reaver.
Edit: I'll personally go with Berserker. And oh Silence works on Assasin which is awesome

Put that shield to proper use:
Ged’s Farmhouse Chicken
Ingredients
Some large fresh chickens (slaughter, clean and pluck as necessary, remove the breasts and keep feed the rest to the dogs or keep for sewer stew)
Some nicely smoked bacon (the burning farmhouse may be used quickly for this to give the right flavour)
Lots and lots of garlic cloves
Fresh mixed herbs (what ever is to hand really)
A bit of old cheese (the more the better)
Some large leaves
A small metal shield
Method
Remove the chicken breasts, lie them on the shield and slice as large a "pocket" down the side as possible suitable for stuffing.
Crush the garlic and place evenly in the pocket along with a goodly amount of the cheese. It may be best to try and cut of any mould from the cheese as whilst it should do no real harm it may be off-putting to some of delicate disposition.
Cut four slices of the bacon per chicken breast, lie them next to each other on the shield sprinkle with the fresh herbs.
Place the chicken upside down on the bacon and wrap the chicken up.
Carefully turn the chicken over thus leaving the overlapping ends of the bacon trapped beneath and holding all the cheese herbs and garlic next to the flesh.
Cooking
Place the breasts in the leaves and place on the shield in the embers of the fire for twenty minutes, remove the leaves and return to the fire until lightly browned.
Remove from the shield to the camping plates and ensure any cheese that has melted out of the pockets is placed over the breasts.
Enjoy with a baked potato or other root veg if found in the vicinity, and good bottle of ale / wine / cider.
Please note that due to the garlic content this meal gives protection from Vampires for twenty four hours, and non garlic loving members of the the opposite sex for forty eight hours.
