 In this dynamic tale, our characters all come in epically, but which was you favorite?

Varric reclaiming your wallet and kicking ass?

Isabela winning a Bar Fight?

Anders healing a patient and then tossing up his staff?

Merrill's foreshadowing mirror glow?

Fenris's glowly ghost grabs?

Sebastian's sharp shooting at the chantry board?

Aveline kickin Darkspawn ass and taking names?

Which entrance impressed you the most, and did the character live up to your expectation?

Prediction: Merrill may have impressed no one. XD

Varric has the arrow twirling, but it is hard to beat punching darkspawn.

Still, will go with Varric, he had the better lines.

I think I enjoyed Aveline's entrance, followed by Varric's. They were my favorite characters.

I don't think Ander's entrance was accurate. If he'd blown up his clinic and cursed the refugees for not supporting his Free the Mages club, it would have made a lot more sense.

Aveline kicking Spawn arse and Varric's "Might wanna find a...new line of work (Smack) Off you go..." both tie for a close second (A VERY close second, though).

Isabela's Bar Fight gets third.

Anders and Sebastian share fourth place.

Merrill has fifth...Yeah...Foreshadowing is kinda boring.

Aveline - I giggled squeed at her entrance.  I don't even giggle-squee for my favorite character of Isabela. Or maybe I'll just offer up proof from a gif I made a few months ago:




Isabela - Great call back to DA: Origins and completely lays out the important aspects of Isabela's character in under a minute.

Varric - It's Varric and the arrow twirl of awesome. Nuff said.

Fenris - Three words: Magical fisting elf

Varric for me, Isabela in a close second. 

Fenris' is tainted because of how much I hate him, and everybody else is just very meh. But that's not a bad thing.

I actually thought Isabela's return with the tome deserves a good mention here. It's an entrance, right?

Fenris. He strolls in, punches a guy in the gut, then apologizes for everything. A killer but also a gentleman. Aveline was pretty awesome too. I mean, who else would punch a darkspawn in the face and then behead it? Varric and Isabela were awesome but I wanted to be included in their scenes. Bar brawl? YES I WANT TO BASH HEADS IN NICE LADY

Seeing a strong woman defending her man versus the damsel in distress RPGs usually sell. Nice! And Aveline is just BADASS!

Shortly followed by Varric. (But he is awesome in anything!) Ah, Bianca!

Sebastian's was deliciously over the top.

And Izzy kicking some serious ass was awesome.

DAII's introductions of the companions were some of its very best features IMO.

Ooh I was gonna say Isabela in that barfight with the chipper music but then I remembered Aveline's entrance, tackling and punching a hurlock then as TVTropes described "lever-cutting its head off."
Yeah that was pretty cool, why didn't anyone ever think that Aveline should be a Grey Warden.

I can't decide between Aveline, Varric, and Fenris. I think I'll probably have to go with Aveline/Fenris for best, and Varric for not-quite-but-very-close-second best. Then probably Sebastian.

And I can't decide if Anders' or Merrill's was most boring. XP

Bethany/Carver don't count because there's no real intro, and the nearest thing to an intro is skippable.

Justice is just an aspect of Anders. So they both made their entrance at the same time, even if Justice wasn't seen.

While Isabela's return with the tome WAS awesome, it's not included since it's not the first time we see her, and if I included temporary disappearances, Fenris fanboys would be jumping all over when you find him after the Bitter Pill and have...relations. Or hell kick out Anders have Dissent to have him return with his chantry plot twist.
