I'm on my second playthrough now, as a mage.. and trying to complete the mage hunter achievement.. lol...my characters a VERY confused mage..
Anyways, I am still in act 1, but I just remembered what happens when I side with the templars and have to fight and kill anders? Does that mean I go into the final battles without a healing mage?

well, YOUR character can be a healing mage)
edit - or you can wait till the patch fixes some plot-breaking bugs, rivalmance Anders and then keep him as a companion throughout the whole game even if you side with templars. I will surely do that one day!

i have no interest in romancing anders... and im already 1/3 of the way to rivalry and i just entered deep roads for the first time.. looks like im gonna have to switch to healing for final battles... lame..

Bethany can do a bit of healing. Admittedly not as much, though in truth I kept Anders around more for Might anyway.
