 Hello,

I am currently living abroad, working at the military base in South Korea. I recently purchase a digital download version of DAO UE from Amazon. I downloaded and installed it, and everything seems to be working fine.

However, I am running the game on my laptop, which fits the basic system requirements, but does not have the best specs, and sometimes struggles to run even older games (namely World of Warcraft).

On the other hand, here in South Korea, there are establishments called "PC rooms" on every block, where they offer high-speed, max-spec gaming systems for paid public use (which are maintained and completely safe, by the way).

I would love to be able to play DAO on one of these systems and enjoy the game in all its graphical glory, so I was wondering is it possible to copy DAO onto an external hard drive and play it on a different machine?

I understand that there will likely be a bit of lag due to the limitation of USB, but I'm just wondering would it even work in the first place, or is each copy of the software inextricably bound to a specific machine?

Interesting question, one that's been posed before, but not exactly in the context you present.  Taking a look at some past posts using a Google search...

... some folks have had luck installing the game onto an external hard drive, but they always have to install it through the OS (Windows) running that particular machine.  In other words, I don't think you can install the game onto an external HD via your laptop, and then plug that external HD into one of the gaming PCs you mentioned, and expect it to play.
