The NPCs in DA:O don't leave much impression to me. They are somehow "calm" and "dull". The NPC that make me impress the most is :
***ZEVRAN: His story about life, work, adventure, sex, etc...is really fun. So far that's the funniest character in my point of view.
***LELIANA: A lovely girl, but I found out that it is very sleepy when I tried to listen all of the story that she can tell me:lol:
:lol:. Actually, if she can give more lively things about life, her feelings. I may love her more that Zevran.
***ORGHEN: "Want some fight? Bring it on!!!". That's can be show up whenever Orghen presents in my party. He loves fighting, and I'm very surprised that he even want to marry a female dwaft. Hee hee. That's fun. I wonder how his wife love a drunk and fightting-addicted husband like him? Never mind, good luck, Felsi (Orghen's girlfriend!)
***MORRIGAN: Man oh man, you're naughty girl, after all!! How dare you have your best friend slay your mother? And did many naughty things in the childhood? Maybe she is not so bad as you think, you should take care of your mother than kill her.
. Even you're adult now, you are still naughty, Morrigan. Have you ever slept with any man before me? (she propose a romance with my male character even when her approval is just little high!). Yes or no, you are still naughty!
***ALISTAIR: A king? Hell no, If someone like him want to be a king, I totally disagree. He is not type who can manage his decision in time (I have to "teach" him somehow, in his own quest!). You always let your emotions make your decision, not your reason. A sensitive man, after all!
***WYNNE: You are more likely stay in the Circle of Magi to teach the apprentice or manage the Circle than follow my party. You don't have to teach me or ask me all the time about what I feel, like my mother, you know. Aww!
Well I think the NPC in Dragon Age 2 is more lively and somehow very unique, because their behave is more likely to the real life so that everyone can feel their own characteristic. If someone ask me what stuffs in DA2 that I like the most, NPCs may be the first candidate

I also have my own feeling about the NPCs:
***AVELINE: One of the strongest woman that I've ever seen in videogame
:lol:. (If I miss someone, please notify me!). Not only her physical, i usually chose her as my tank (I made her as a supertank!), but also the behavior: not much woman can do the management (in DA2, she is captain!!!) but she show me her own strength in her spirit. She is not a fighting machine, she is somehow have some weakness and sensitivity of a normal woman! An adorable character!!!
***ANDERS: There is a contradiction in his own mankind, his vengenceful spirit maybe very strong, but he is ruthless and very cruel, opposite with his very tranquill behavior and his appearance. But he is still human, and he know how he feels (In the game, I have my female character romance Anders and he almost express all his feelings with me. How fun!!!). He is human, he is not perfect, right? So the best for Anders is, just the way you are! An remarkable character.
***BETHANY: Good girl. You're always a good sister. She is a ideal sister (in my opinion, hee hee. I hope my sister could be like her, too. Sadly, she is completely reverse of what I feel about Bethany!).
***CARVER: Ooh, a ruthless and cruel brother. How can it be? Could you please show me some good point of your mankind, Carver? I don't want my character to become someone like you!
***FENRIS: Naughty elf. This guy always hit my companions and even kill them when I let him fight free on his own, so I have to take control over him whenever he presents in the fight. He is some kind of ruthless, too. He eliminate all the people he doesn't like or his enemy, and even could have killed his own sister, if I hadn't stopped him. Maybe the horrible and gruesome past has haunted you so much till now, Fenris. Maybe some calm life can cure your spirit wound!
***ISABELLA: Very cunning woman, and she is not type of person who would kindly to do "charity". She is lonely, though. So that's why when I make her feel that there is always a friend beside her, she approve so much. But why leave friends in the danger is not a good mankind, even you return and try to fix what have you done, you are not somekind of paragon, well, maybe that's you, Isabella.
***MERRILL: She is the "replacement" of Morrigan in DA2, a real nuker! But WTF blood magic? You've even leave your own clan just to pursue the art of blood magic. Never mind, there is still some good point in your manner, eh? You love the elf, the mage like you, but protect the forbidden stuffs is not good after all. I still cannot understand her.

***VARRIC: Maybe your brotherhood is the largest in the game. You care so much about your friends and brothers. Somehow I feel very lucky to have a friend that have a great brotherhood like you, pal, and you are very useful whenever you present! Very good NPC, though.
***GAMLEN: What is the most important things in your life? Money or your family? Oh, that's life, isn't it? I should expect that I will meet some person like you in the real life, not in Video game (and indeed, I have met someone like him, even worse!). Good gracious, some people like him in DA2 make the society in this game become more real!
***MEREDITH & OSINO: they are just 2 archenemy, they are somehow represent the political problem in the fantasy world! You are the same, don't think that you are better than your enemy!
