Lol, it is funny to see people complain about the lack of hardcore ME3 content. For me, this is exactly what I wanted!

We know.  Yes, we know.  You are repeating yourself over and over again.  We know.

Anyone notice that on the Salarian home world screen that there is a shadow projected onto the cover on the right side of the screen? It looks krogan to me.

I don't think it's a krogan. For all I know, it could be another cerberus mook. Or shep, as there are times when the game does weird things with the shadow sometimes. =P
I'm actually pretty glad they're keeping all the online GI updates (minus the GI magazine article) relatively spoiler free. I'd like to jump into the game without knowing anything, for once. And Yay salarian homeworld!!!!! Image IPB Hope this means other homeworlds would be included.

On the 2nd screenshot, the lights on his back are red. Aren't they usually blue?

Does this mean we have the option to customize the color of those lights? Would be cool.

The cerberus guys look alright, but I really don't understand the obsession with "steroid armor". You don't need to make a character look like a line-backer for them to look bad-@ss. I can forgive it on "heavy" enemies and sub-bosses, but for everyday shmucks it's overkill.

Except these aren't everyday shmucks.

And God forbid space suits look like space suits.

Well they are going to try to kill Shepard who has already defeated Sovereign, Saren, and the Collectors I'm suprise  that each one doesn't have an mini nuke launcher with them.

And Shepard pulled out a revive and now is more than likely stronger, faster, and toughter than ever before. They need automatic Cains.

Cerberus' "swine troopers" look very out-of-place with those Gear of War-style armors. Then again, BioWare is really pushing to create Mass Gear Effect Wars...

I would have preferred continuity and integrity over this forced "coolness". Heavy is fine, but these look like pigs in carbon fiber. Meh, and so far armor designs were great in the series.

Y'know given the minimalistic architecture and the plant life.. I was really hoping that was going to be Palaven instead of the salarian homeworld. Oh well, still good to know more info.

I sort of like how beefed up the armour on the Cerberus guys is.. maybe TIM has finally learned that he shouldn't underestimate Shepard. Not too excited about the masks/helmets or the obvious Cerberus logos/colouration, but at least they look tough.

You guys always find something to complain about, right? :P
I really like the feel the images give me. The shooting animation looks somewhat better, everything looks cleaner. I can't help but stare at the muzzle flash.

The map/place also looks pretty big! And nicely done, for the section we've seen. I just hope it is not repeated sections throughout, given the size of it.

Can't wait for ME3 :D

Sheapard at this point has killed:
->Two reapers
->Two spectres
->A yang (shadow broker)
->An asari matriarch (Matriarch Benezia)
->At least four krogan battlemasters
->A few Asari commandos
->A few krogan warlords
->Hundreds to thousands of geth
->Hundreds to thousands of krogan
->Hundreds to thousands of collectors
->Hundreds to thousands of blue suns
->Hundreds to thousands of eclipse
->Hundreds to thousands of bloodpack
->Hundreds to thousands of husks
->Hundreds of thorian creepers

What's worng with heavy ass armor.??? You would think cerberus would use their heaviest armor to fight against their biggest threat and enemy.Besides something new is always welcome...

I think they look cool!I hope they are tougher than average foes to justify the big ass armor

Salarian architecture isn't very exciting.

Indeed it's not. That said, i'd say that style of clinical architecture does make sense for the Salarians considering what we know of them.

Anyone else notice the blue flash on the left Cerberus guy in the Revenant pic? Can't work out what it's sposed to be.

The Illusive Man probably sees Shepard as a threat. Why I don't know

Yeah the story of oh Cerberus is turning on shepard seems stupid and dumb but hey I guess thats what you get for ripping off Star Trek and creating a poor man's version of it

Well, it doesn´t have to be all of Cerberus who is chasing Shepard. Wasn´t Cerberus divided into three separate divisions who basically had nothing to do with each other?

Might be just one of those divisions that are after Shepard.

 I'm pretty sure we still don't know the full story behind that do we? I know there's a lot of speculation but is it not possible that it could be linked to what you did with the Base? With the Reapers on the march and Shepard being the only one actively doing something to try and stop them it would be beyond stupid for the Illusive man to kill Shepard. Only possible explainations i can think of are....he's indoctrinated or the fight against the Illusive man and Cerb is how the game ends - i.e. the Reapers leave/get defeated like midway through and then the focus of the story shifts to stopping Cerb. Personally i hope it's down to what you did to the base. You could end up with two very unique playthroughs that way. One with Cerb trying to kill you and the other with them perhaps still helping you.

As for the screens, it's looking good. Lighting seems different. Although they're probably touched up, there seems to be a slight improvement over ME2. That said i thought the Gears 3 screens were touched up but that ended up looking just as good in motion. I don't think we can judge the Salarian homeworld by the one screen. I don't know if i consider this as being any part of the game spoiled for me...but i do wonder what Shepard's doing on the Salarian homeworld
