Not being completely delusional, I realize and accept that there will be no more DLC for Origins. Considering that I can afford to be selfish and spend my money on myself, I will happily purchase DLC for DA2 because I enjoyed the game and would love to run around Kirkwall some more.

On the DA Saga? If it gets quality content. Yes. On the bloody lame DA2? No thank you!

I'll almost certainly be buying any quest/story related DLC that comes out, and I would consider any smaller packs that were released on a case by case basis, although it is quite unlikely that I would spend money on armor or somesuch (I didn't with ME, with the exception of the firepower pack which was totally worth it).

Quest DLC that fills in gaps I would wait for reviews of before purchasing, whilst quest DLC that takes place after Act 3 (or otherwise continues either Hawke's story or the underlying story of the franchise) would be almost an insta-buy.

My dream DLC however would be one that adds a female Dwarf party member and features a quest where all the Dwarf women of Kirkwall turn up having been on holiday in Rivain for seven years.

If the title of the thread is a clever way of saying "Would you buy DLC for DA2?" then my answer is yes, especially if it is extra content. I'm not as keen on small DLC (armour or other item packs) but it would really depend on what was being offered.

My dream DLC would be a date with Varric.. even if it didn't turn him into a permanent LI, that guy deserves some one-on-one time with Hawke.. for research purposes, yes..

I will have to wait and see. DA2 gameplay doesn't really do that much for me, so if it's a combat-heavy DLC like Golems for DAO, then I will pass. If it's a really great new story, then I might get it.

Like i said before, if it's like ME DLC (the quests, not equipment packs) , maybe. If it's like Origins DLC, no.

This would be incredible. I would get far too excited about something like that.

I'm a major Varric fan also! Would definitely purchase DLC centered around him. I personally enjoyed the game enough to buy DLC no problem!

If it's an expansion sized package, oh yes.

Quest DLC? Depends on what they are about.

Item, Appearance etc. Packs? No.

THIS!

I have the money and I hope they have the time.:wizard:

I will gladly spend more money on the DA saga - just not on DA2. Quality DA:O add-ons I will buy any time.

I feel the same way.

I'm unhappy I already spent 82 dollars on "Dragon Age" 2. They used their marketing campaign instead of the quality of their product to convince me to purchase the game, DLC, and ...... a letter opener...

I have no reason to believe their business model for the DA:2 DLC will be any different.

Fool me once.... well... you can't fool me again...

No, I'd prefer it if they'd give me free DLC.

But, I'll pay if I have to I suppose. It would be nice if the DLC would fill in the year 7 to year 10 gap and showed us wth happened to Hawke.

I don't use DLC anymore, but it has nothing to do with DA2, I don't use them because Internet online connection requirements everytime I start the game. So, even if DLC's would be free I don't use them. How ever, in general it's more about how good the content is for money it cost.

It's really funny to find so many people say NO to spending money on DLC. It always amuses me how they just can't stay away from these forums even though they are so disappointed with DA2.
And I'll bet money on finding these same people whining about all the DLCs that they'll end up buying.

Do you want to spend more money on this game? I mean for future DLC and such.

I think I'm pretty much done with Dragon age saga. It's so recycled that it's not fun to explore it any further. I don't care if the next game is in Orlai or Anderfeldt or whatever grim or beutiful scenery it's. I'm just so tired of it all. I'm just waiting for ME3 and hopefully BIOWARE will create some new worlds in the future.

This is just my thoughts how about you guys?

I want this world back. There's tons more to explore and hopefully the next installment will be as immersive and detailed as DA:O, with real conversation and interactions, and we can forget this ever happened. I'm not even remotely tired of Thedas or the characters in it. The only way I'd buy DLC for DA2 is if it takes place after the end of the game, though, and is in a new location. I have no desire to return to Kirkwall.

My preference would be a DLC dealing with where the warden and Hawke disappeared to, or a DLC about Sebastian's return to Starkhaven to retake the throne. Given the small size of previous DLC, that's probably unrealistic.

I'd also buy a DLC that was an overhaul of locations and gameplay for DA2. Not another quest within the main game, though. Funny, that's what I wanted more than anything else from Origins DLC--more time in the main game with my companions. More conversation with them, and more character development done in the same way as the game. I was so disappointed by the small scope and lack of interaction in Return to Ostagar. That could have been so amazing....

I won't give up hope on DA3 until I have to, and not saying anything about DA2 would be just that. Maybe it won't make a difference. Maybe they'll just forge ahead on this path, but if everyone who had issues with DA2 and loved Origins were to just go away, that would ensure it. I refuse to just give up.

I had no problem no buying DLC I didn't want for Origins (Golems, Darkspawn Chronicles), and I'll have no trouble here. Less, since it would only be for the story, not for the combat or gameplay which I enjoyed in Origins.

Depends on if the content is something I find agreeable or not, though I'd likely buy it anyway. Loved DA2, getting more of it wouldn't be a bad thing.

I wouldn't mind some DLC, yeah. Starting to wonder if they're just going to abandon this title, though. I'd think they'd have announced something by now.

Depends. Mass Effect 2 had fantastic DLC, especially Lair of the Shadowbroker, so something like that where we connect with a certain character and take part in a real storyline I'd be into. Wasn't a fan of Origins DLC. I'd actually like to forget some of them. I'd be down for an expansion for sure.
