No, I'd prefer it if they'd give me free DLC.

Best answer ever.

Either way, yes, I want to spend more money on this game if it means having more of it.

Though I won't buy anything that's similar in concept to Darkspawn Chronicles ever again!

As for DA2, yes, I am prepared to spend money on the DLC.

So much talking about DLC/expansion in the forum.
I wish it were some new DA 2 DLC available at the moment. I`m very impatient for an announcement from Bioware.

You hear me, Bioware? I will buy your DA 2 DLC´s or expansion.
You just have to release something.
But please, i want to see some new areas in the DLC´s and nothing like the Dark Spawn Chronicles, if possible.

Yes, I would buy story-based or companion-based DLC. Definitely not armor/item upgrades and no combat-only DLC. What draws me to DA is the companions, the lore and the storytelling. I felt DA2 lacked in the companions interaction department, so I would welcome DLC to expand on that.

Not trying to disappoint you or anything but....

No, as I was insufficiently impressed enough to play through DA2 a second time. Therefore I've no desire or inclination to buy DLC for this game.

That's in stark comparison to ME2, for which I have purchased all the DLC available.

I haven't even gotten the Sebastian DLC, so I don't think I'll be getting any DLC for DA2. I'll just wait and see how DA3 turns out when it's released and decide if the Dragon Age sage is something for me any longer, or if I'm not longer the audience it caters for

Only if they make good story DLC, then yes. I hope for quality DLC like LotSB.
Weapon or appareance pack, never.

Yes. Provided that it advances the story of my Warden and my Hawke, which probably means that the story flags of DAA needs to be fixed first.
I want more about the setting, the companions, and something that advances the storyline into the future. Simply more dungeons does not interest me very much.
I liked Leilannas Song and Witch Hunt. Darkspawn Chronicles was a waste of time. The Exiled Prince had a nice setup and a fun new companion, but the story did not go anywhere.

That said, I will not buy DA products on day one in the future. I guess some of the trust is gone

I think I'm pretty much done with Dragon age saga. It's so recycled that it's not fun to explore it any further. I don't care if the next game is in Orlai or Anderfeldt or whatever grim or beutiful scenery it's. I'm just so tired of it all. I'm just waiting for ME3 and hopefully BIOWARE will create some new worlds in the future.

This is just my thoughts how about you guys?

I will not spend a single penny on DA2 DLC.

I would buy origins dlc though...

No I would not purchase any DLC for DA2. Hell, this game was such a let down people won't even want to pirate it. As for DA3, I would wait for reviews and play it before buying it.

I'd be willing to pay for a good quality DLC that bridges Origins and 2 more effectively and gives more of a set-up for Hawke, possibly one that covers the first year in Kirkwall or at a stretch one that covers the third time skip and allows for more interaction with both Meredith and Orsino. Mind I'd much rather time was spent fixing the technical issues with the game before any more DLCs were started.

And free things are always nice, but lets be realistic; devs need to eat, pay bills etc. so any extra content would have to be charged for.

Do I want to spend more money on DA2 DLC? Not a chance in hell.

BUT, if hell were to suddenly freeze over and the DA Team were again to support DLC for DA:O; I'll be the first in line.

In its current state, I DON'T want to spend any more money on DA2.

On the other hand, if they 'fix' DA2, with something like a free 'Enhanced Edition' 'update', then maybe I'll consider spending more.

@Barbarossa's post:
If BioWare were to make more DLCs for DA:O, yeah, I too may spend cash for that.

I doubt i will buy any DA2 dlc, as it will be more of the same and not change what i dislike about the game. I am more inclined to buy DA3, if there are signals that bioware is changing their route to something more like origins. Otherwise i think i will be done with these series.

I'll get behind that, too.

I bought all Origins dlcs with the exception of Darkspawn Chrnolicles (not my cup of tea), and I can honestly say that while I enjoyed some of the more story-driven ones (Leliana's song, Shale, to some extent witch hunt and return to ostagar - this one mostly due to Wynne + secret companion interaction) the rest of them felt... lacking.

I'd really appreciate story-driven dlcs that awknowledge and add on choices I've made with my companions, their friendships and rivalries, and the romances if such were pursued.

I bought the DLC for DA:O because I enjoyed the game, even though most of the DLC was sub-par and overpriced.

I don't enjoy DA2, I can't even be bothered to start up the playthrough I stopped while waiting for the patch again. I haven't even downloaded the patch yet. I sincerely doubt there's any DLC that will increase my enjoyment, at most it will just fill in holes that should have been in the game from the start.

No! Bioware rushed DA2, which was a slap in the face for people who believed in them when you take a look at their amazing gaming record. Why would I further support them with this trash?
