It depends what the DLC is about. If the story sounds good, I might buy it.

Depends but probably not.
If the DLC is good I think I'll just wait until the price get cheaper. It happened with Origins DLCs.

BUT, if hell were to suddenly freeze over and the DA Team were again to support DLC for DA:O; I'll be the first in line.

Oh yeah, this. Unless it's another Crapspawn Chronicles.

After being disappointed by WK, I researched all the other DLC and Awakening. I never bought any of them. I love DA:O. So the chance that I will purchase anything for DA 2 is slim. Very, very slim indeed. It would have to be spectacular, and it would have to be cheap. Because as far as I'm concerned, I've paid far too much already.

I dislike the whole idea and mechanism of DLC as a whole. Not only for the DA series, but for all games. I support the "I want a complete game right of the bat, for my complete money" faction. It used to be that way, not even that long ago. I often wonder who started this piece-meal way of selling a game.

Oh now, that's funny. Thanks for the laugh.

I'll be over there in the kitchen getting a towel to wipe up my ginger ale.

Agreed. While expansions have been around for quite some time, the idea of paying for small bits of content seems to be relatively new.

EA may not have came up with it, but they sure are pushing the hell out of it to squeeze every last cent they can get for their games. On The Sims they have people paying to buy a single shirt or hairdo or lamp or whatever.

Other companies are guilty of it too though. When Oblivion came out Bethesda had people paying for a single piece of armor for a horse!

DLC for DA2? An absolute no from me. The game, to me, was only decent. I will continue to support good games, not decent ones.

i wouldn't spend more on da2. I wouldnt say ive given up on the franchise altogether though, that depends on what the direction the next game takes.

I agree, the amount of DLC for games in general is getting ridiculous, especially launch DLC, that is the biggest rip off in gaming at the moment.

I'm adopting the wait and see motto for DLC since I'm broke and unemployed. As for DA3, as I stated in other threads, I will wait and see there too. If the Bioware team can guarantee that the game will be 99% bug free then yeah I'll buy it. If they cannot then I will wait until the game either has an ultimate edition or until the game has been patched and the games price has gone down at my local gamestop before even thinking of purchasing the 3rd game.

I'm neither, but I would submit that the wait and see approach is probably best for everyone on this forum. I for one am not willing to commit to any purchase until I hear that any DLC is set FAR FAR AWAY from Kirkwall and it's curiously identical caves and rooms.

I think it would be cool if we got a DLC charting what happened with Hawke after DA2.

This forum got so much flooded recently...

I'm a bit surprised they didn't annouce what are they planning to do next. Some info on future DLC/ expanions or improvements to the game itself. Only some gossips about the 3rd game in production already...

C'mon BW... shed some light on this matter... I can't imagine You don't care about what ppl write around here.

To be honest I quite enjoyed the game, the recycled levels didnt really bother me as much as I feared they would and it felt enough like DA:O to me, albeit some things that were lost dont really make sense to me.
All in all despite being nonplussed in the beginning I really enjoyed motivating myself through the game rather than following yet another ancient evil etc etc.
That said I am loath to put more cash into DLC/Expansions for it unless they are the dogs b****cks, something that expands the story in or around Kirkwall, or throws in a bit of diversity into the Champion's tale. I wont be touching another Pinnacle Station/Witch Hunt type thing though... DLC would have to be pretty damn special...

If the DLC makes up for the shortcomings of DA2 I could spend money on it yes.

Unless it's LotSB quality, I won't bother.

So that's probably a "no".

Dragon Age Origins only had $95 of DLC. Let's see if we can break the $100 barrier in DA2.

Asside from Shadow Broker, pretty much all of the other Bioware DLC blew chunks.

I'd have to see how DA3 turns out. If that game was even a step closer to DA:O instead, as I fear, a leap in the opposite direction, I would probably get all DA2 DLC and play it before starting DA3.

And no, I don't envision that happening. But maybe...
