Some may call me impatient and please do but after two patches and no fix I am gonna make a request anyway. If at all possible could someone fix the bug in Viscount's Keep or possibly place it in Act 2 or Act 3 for my OCD completion sake. I just want it in my journal dang it. I don't even care about the achievement as you can get it anyway despite the bug. I just want my codex full. I don't know if it's even possible but thanks either way. I just hate the fact I cannot get all the messages because of some lame bug and it's even more frustrating when console players can get by it.

Do you mean the bug about it not showing up as selectable in the Seneschal's office? If you press the select button around it several times you will click on it and it will notify you it's been added to the Codex. There's a couple of videos on YouTube of people doing it.

Hey Blue, mind helping me out with a link or a possible search query? I keep looking but sadly all I can find are 360/PS3 users using button mashing. I've been holding Tab and clicking like mad around the portrait. Sorry if such a video does exist. I am really trying.

The R button on PC should work; out of combat, it issues a command to interact with the nearest object, in combat, it issues an attack command against the nearest enemy.

Hmm, I thought myself clever attempting it earlier but I had no luck and perhaps gave up too soon. Will definitely give it another try. This thread has definitely went the other way from what I intended. I did mean it as a serious request because from all the searching I did. Even DA 2 wikia stated it unobtainable on PC. I will go give it a shot for a good bit and pray. My OCD must be fed. Yum Yum. Thanks again.

R does not work on codex entry clickables, gotta physically click them.

That is sad indeed. I guess I'll be waiting for either a patch or some very amazing person to make it obtainable before I can proceed to Act 2. Thankfully I have Portal 2 to keep me busy for a while until either happens. Thanks for the replies everyone!

 I can't find the video anymore unfortunately, but it just basically showed someone clicking away at the right corner of the desk in Bran's office.  If the wikia says it's unobtainable though then I don't know where else to point you - sorry

Correct, R does not work on the PC, we're hosed.
