I just finished killing the Demon in the fade (The one that possessed Conner) with a Cone of Cold followed by a Crushing Prison which shattered it. I've faced it twice on normal (I'm on Hard) and I remember it giving me way more trouble then that... Did I just get lucky?

Second question, my Morrigan has +10%, +10%, and +15% cold damage equipment on. Since one cone took off 80% of the demons health I assume they stack? Just making sure.

Third question, what does "Radiates Cold" do?

1) Did you play the same character every time? If you go with Jowan or Irwing I believe it's a lot tougher as they're not built terribly well. She only gives me trouble when I take either of them. If you are always the same character then welcome to the wonderful world of cold spells. Then really do rock. The same spells made my first ever Loghain duel trivial.

2) It seems so,

3) I assume you're refering to a mage's staff which says that? I believe it means it fires cold damage. Certain types of enemies are particularly vulnerable, resistant, or immune to different types of damage. Dragons and Rage demons are vulnerable to cold.

Well it says it deals cold damage but it radiates cold. And I've played through 5 other times so I know about hte vulnerability stuff :P. And this is the first time I went through with Morrigan on hard.

Thing is, Jowan has to be able to kill it, and with his few skills, that's actually pretty challenging. The warden, Wynne or Morrigan is much easier.

Wynne and Morrigan should be ideal for this fight because you are able to level them and have control over what spells they have.

Jowan and Irving can defeat the demon, though it's just more challenging with their limited spell selection. A mage warden should have the easiest fight, especially an arcane warrior warden, or any mage with access to mana clash.

the hardest approach is to use Irving, the ironic thing is he is the first enchanter ;)
