Hi.

1) Im thinking of replacing the Blood Magic upgrade (+1hp to mana) with the the effect of Wrath (+10% dmg from Ander's Vengeance) or even Veneer of Calm (+dmg as hp decreases from Fenris tree). Im guessing it might be possible to just replace a line in the .abi file. Anyone knows how can it be done, or is even possible?

2) I've edited the healing of Grave Robber/One Foot In to 20% and the value is shown correctly on the Grave Robber tooltip, however, it is still showing as 10% in the One Foot In tooltip. But when i used the skill on a living enemy, it correctly deal 20%hp dmg. How do i make the One Foot In tooltip display the correct damage %?

Thanks alot in advance

Item effects and ability effects are separate and not interchangeable, if I understand where you are going with this (since it sounds like you are referring to the Blood Magic item attribute).

Nono. You're mistaken. I am refering to the Spell upgrade to Blood Magic named [Bloodlust], which adds +1hp to mana, not the item property. I would like to know if theres any way to replace this spell with another existing spell effect. But anyway, thanks for the reply tho

I get what you're saying. I'll see if I can make the swap for you a little later on, and then post how I did it so you'll be able to make your own edits if you'd like.

Edited TLDR version: swapping upgrades between trees doesn't work as it does with standard abilities.

Hi Noctaris, thanks for the input, but it seems that the gda is not working. Heres what i've found out.

It seems that the upgrade (Wrath) has a value of 10 in $15BD, which is for the 10% dmg increases. And its an extension to the base ability of the upgrade (ie Vengeance). When it is copied over to Blood Magic upgrade(Bloodlust), what your .gda file does is to increases the +1hp-mana to +10hp-mana. The tooltip of Blood magic will display 12hp-mana.

I've found out that removing the id in $D300F column from Blood Magic will sever Blood Magic from its upgrade. But even so, i cant get it to work.

I have a feeling that the upgrades are simply an extension to the base spells, which you can increase the dmg, cooldown, brittle chance etc. But if you copy and paste it over another upgrade, it will read the values differently, eg 80 for 80% brittle chance, it will read it as 80hp-mana in the case of Blood Magic. :?

Heres the most impt thing, i've read through the lines for Fenris's [Veneer of Calm] and Reaver's [Frenzy] as both of them are essentially the same. Its simply 0 throughout, I cant seem to find the column responsible for the effect. So what i think is that the effect of a skill is hard-linked to the ID code of the spell itself, so there is no way to "copy" the effect from one skill to another, unless you copy and replace the ID code, meaning you will remove the orginal spell with that ID.

Ok. I've added the Blood Frenzy passive to the Blood Mage tree, in bid to make it a more "nuker" class. Visit my mod here: http://www.dragonage...ile.php?id=2683
