Is it possible to use HLAs, particularly warrior ones, in succession to get great effects, or are you limited to one per round. For example, can I activate critical strike and whirlwind and actually get 10 attacks that are potentially crits?
Using HLAs back to back

I think you can if you're also a mage with Improved Alacrity.
If you're just a warrior then you can get 10 attacks with Improved Haste and the right equipment, then use Critical Strike on top of that.

Another fun combo for archer types is Tuigan's Bow + Imp. Haste + Smite - great for keeping those baddies away from you, especially indoors.

You don't actually get to use 2 HLAs in a round with IA, it just lets you cast right away - so you can cast extra spells (some of which could be 9th level spells that come from HLA like Planetar, etc) but you can't actually activate multiple HLAs from the F12 menu in a round.

I just tested this - high-level fighter/mages definitely can run multiple fighter HLAs at once (I used GWW and Critical Strike - I can't see why you wouldn't be able to use the others and I think I remember having an FMT with the cap remover use Assasination as well). The HLAs work the same as spells. in the game engine.

yes, but like spells you can only cast one per round unless you use IA

Obviously, but that isn't what you said in your last post. Which was what I was disagreeing with.
