if it was for a greater cause like earth or the galaxy I would do so but it depends on the situation
but this is something we will never known until the release of the game

Depends on the reason but it'd be my last last resort I'd rather us go battlestar then willingly give up Earth.

It's already on fire, so why not?

Well... my canon Shep was born on Earth. Would he let his home-- and the home of his people-- be destroyed to save the rest of the galaxy?
I'm not really sure. He's a Paragon/Paragade, so I can see him potentially sacrificing Earth. But as he told the Illusive Man (and other people) throughout his adventures, "there's always another way". He'd try to find some sort of way around such a hard choice. But if he couldn't? I just do not know.

If i had to? Sure. Shep has already given up a lot for the greater good.

It's definitely a 'last resort' kind of move if ever there were one. But if options ran out? Absolutely.

I'd do it for a Klondike Bar.

I would if it were necessary. I don't like Humans much but I love Earth but not much like I love Space. I know there a far more and interesting worlds and locations out there in the unknown and the heavens. I would save the Galaxy by making the ultimate Sacriface of the Home World.

I'm really hoping we don't have to sacrifice anyones home planets...It would be a last resort option for me, I just hope it doesn't come to that.

I would rather see the entire galaxy burn before I sacrifice earth.

Humanity has thousands of colonies, with almost all of them having a considerably high population. So if the options ran out, yeah I'd sacrifice Earth. The Reapers would have damaged the planet so badly that it would be insanely difficult to rebuild. Compare it to the results of the war between the geth and the quarians and you'll get what I mean.

Pfft Earth. Everybody knows the Mooninites are way cooler then any Earthlings. Besides they have the ultimate weapon...

Reapers can't beat that. But seriously...
Galaxy > Earth
I'd like to save Earth, but I'd rather save humanity as a whole and galactic civilization.

Without a moments hesitation.
It's an over populated acid-washed slum.

Umm, Codex says that humanity has since been able to better manage cities to the point that if you're not dirt poor like Earthborn Shep, then Earth is a pretty rockin' place..... Maybe in third world contries, but other than that and the poor thing, Earth is pretty non-slummy. Or acid washed. They tend to manage larger populations better too.
Anyway, no I wouldn't sacrifice Earth. It is the center of humanity's civilization. A humanity that Shep is part of no matter where s/he comes from. There are billions of humans on Earth and my Shep's not about to sacrifice them.

"Sacrificing" any garden world is a repulsive proposition, even if it's the asari. Well, maybe nto for them. Seriously, even if you're like depressed emo kid who hates humans and wishes they could be an alien, there are still numerous good reasons for not handing over the resources of a garden world to the Reapers, of all things.

Was referring to what Anoleis says on Noveria if you have the Earthborn background.

Earth is a near miracle. Think about it, a planet that is within the life zone of its star, that has an atmosphere composed of breathable gasses (by human standards) with suitable temperature ranges, atmospheric pressure, and not to mention a magnetic field that shields all life on the planets surface from cosmic rays. Forget the fact that it spawned the human species and is the home of most of my Shep characters and it is still a pearl beyond price.
I wouldn't sacrafice it unless there was absolutely no alternative. Maybe if it came down to an Earth vs Miranda decision, but other than that heck no.

If it means saving the galaxy yes, but it would be a massive sacrifice.

No. Shepard would whip the Reapers like a pack of Chihuahuas, without sacrificing anything. Hes just that cool. 'Course, if you're a Renegade, you may just destroy the Earth yourself for the whole "trial" thing. But only after you're done with the Reapers.

Love how it's so often forgotten that we are not the only living beings on Earth and as far as I'm aware, none of the other living species on Earth have taken up space travel in ME....No it is not my intention to troll, am just making a point.
