Hmm... I probably wouldn't sacrifice earth. It's our home planet and without it humanity would be pretty much doomed (It seems like 99 % of the human population lives on earth). I don't want to sound racist, but as a human I value the human race pretty highly.

Let my homeworld burn? No frakking way. Just like another poster said, do you think the Turians or Asari or Salarians would sacrifice their homeworld for humans? Most likely not. The other races would love to see the upstart new kids on the block gone.

Earth is the symbol for all humankind therefore it's vital that Earth remain afterwards. It will certainly lower the moral or maybe boost it, who knows what the writers have in mind. Anyway, I think this is a good question OP, and also very likely that it's one of the choices we have to face in the game.

There's no way I'd sacrefice earth in any circumstance, I'd rather have the reapers wipe out all the other races than let that happen.

Depends, as I'd rather see the balance of power post-culling be decided by the amount of effort and sacrifice on part of each species.

I would Sacrifice Earth, short term it would be a disastor, but it could boost moral for all other races, they would know exactly what not to do, and would try to fight there way to survive. On the human side, everyone would be deeply depressed and lose all will to fight at first, it depends if they were even born on Earth. If not they would probibly still wont to fight. But centeries after Earth is gone it could be an advantage to the human race. (Key word, could)

I probably wouldn't do it, but I'm not in the position right now so its possible that I'd do it. Losing billions of our people and the homeworld doesn't really appeal to me though and it'd have to be done as a last resort, if i did it.

I would sacrifice ANYTHING, and I play as a paragon. I think most of the reason I destroyed the Collector base was because I was afraid it would not help, and TIM would use it for bad reasons; although I was certainly disgusted by the thought of using the base.

I would shoot whoever suggested sacrificing Earth in the face. Earth first the Galaxy second for me. If I could save the galaxy but it meant Earth carrying a heavey burden, ok. But to lose Earth beyond recovery?? Never.

The very notion is filthy. Would you sacrifice your mother to the reapers??
