Personally on my "canon" play through I never romanced any party members because I felt that my Warden wouldn't have that on her list of things to do during a Blight. Plus, she still loved Gorim.

Your cigarette example added nothing to your argument. You pretty just backed up my point about age ratings, with a new example.

And comparing people experiencing scenes of light sexual content (yes, not hardcore porno or paedophilla) in a game... to people dying from cancer, or children shooting up their school is... just... stupid as all hell.
You're not helping your argument, you're just making yourself seem wrong in the head.

That is all what i want to see....the warden is underage or not underage, Bioware didn't say anything about it, instead fans like you who will defend the company freely because...well...that is how the system goes on...

There is no "system". No conspiracy, no cover up, there isn't even any fanboyism involved here.

You have made a wild, unreasonable claim and have no decent evidence to back it up, and we are trying to set you straight with common sense.

Bioware doesn't need to say anything about her not being underage. It's obvious.
What do you want, a big disclaimer to pop up and say "OH BY THE WAY, just so you know, The Warden is tottally of legal age!"? It's taken for granted that she is. Do you also want a signed and written statement proving that the Warden is actually a female, and not a man in drag? Or how about some cold hard evidence that she's not actually an undercover martian in a suit?

Fast food is healty food for your kid's growth...oh yes, there is no scientific proof that cell phone usage can lead to brain cancer....

Please explain what relevance this has. It just sounds like insane ramblings.

I'm not saying paedophilia isn't a bad thing, I'm saying it is simply not in this game.
I'm not saying exposure of sex to minors isn't a bad thing, I'm saying that all the precautions have been taken to prevent it. It's ILLEGAL for an under 18 to buy and play this game, please remember this. While many under 18's obviously are playing it illegally, it doesn't matter because of just that: they're doing it illegally. The game is not catering to them.

When the demon said "half your age" she did not mean it litterally. And it is so painfully obvious that the Wardan is not 10-12 years old, it doesn't even deserve consideration.

And Alistair being 18 is not fact. There's a LOT of assumption involved in that. And even you had proof of that, how do you then figure Isolde to be 20-25?

By labeling me such things as you did doesn't make your arguments valid. Either you are a paid agent or just a fan boy who feel important or smart, good boy. You feel a need, urging you to deny every arguments about Bioware by undermining the one who argue and trying to make them look like a fool.

Most people will say Flemeth and Morrigan are bad....i think not, they know more than anyone about things, even about Grey Warden, more than the two Warden themselves. But they have to live like that because of the prejudice and the peoples ignorance...

You're basing Alistair's age on a theory which you believe is true but which hasn't been confirmed anywhere. If you look at Alistair in-game, he talks (I mean how his voice sounds, not WHAT he says...) and looks like at least in his mid-twenties. He is alredy starting to have wrinkles. His voice actor was forty-three in 2009.

As someone else said, time is really confused in the DA universe. It takes two weeks to get from Orzammar to the Circle tower, yet you can do a forced (more like Roadrunner) march of one(?) day from Redcliffe to Denerim?? If you are a mage, you can tell Wynne you have been away from the tower for one year after the Broken Circle quest, even if you have still 70% of the game ahead of you and the whole game is supposed to take place within two years at the max?

BTW, this game is rated M/18+/Adult everywhere I know. So it's illegal for a minor to buy or play this game. And you can't make the Warden look underage. Not with that cup size...

Generally: Is there a "board humour archive" thread? I'd like to link this thread to it... some of the funniest things I've read in a long time... OP should check his/her obsession and dirty imagination levels...

I mean, really... if you want to swoop down on games with underage-related protagonists, there are waaaay more suitable targets freely available on the american market, rather than DAO.  And heck, they're even full frontal PORN GAMES, as opposed to DAO.

So knock it off. Or if you must, go play JewelKnightsCrusaders and then, by all means, feel free to go apesh*t on that game. It deserves a pedo beating much more than a complex Game of the Year title like DAO.

I think the Warden is intended to be past maturity and as it's an RPG, it's up to you to decide from there. I'd say 18-21 as a sensible age range that fits all the lore nicely.

Other ages:

Morrigan: 18-23 (Constantly referred to as young and beautiful - sort of the absolute contrast of Flemeth in DAO. She is also naive but talks as if she has years of experience... Hard to say but I see her as 20-ish

Leliana: 20-25 (I'd say almost definitely under 20 in Leliana's Song and DAO is a few years after that... She seems to be young but her amount of stories puts a few years on her...)

Alistair - 25

Zevran - 20-25

Wynne - 65
Sten - 40
Oghren - 30?

This is getting OT, which might actually be a good thing on this thread, but these two are the ones I'd disagree by several years.

I'd put Zevran (If elves do age at the same rate as men) at least in the late 20s, or even early 30s, given the first signs of age that the "vanilla" Zevran has. (But maybe his sex life is so exhausting that he has aged prematurely...) This clashes a bit with the few missions he had accomplished so far (but we don't know how long these missions - travelling to foreign countries, tracking down people, gaining their trust, killing them, returning to Antiva - actually take...) He always gave me a "slightly past his boy toy prime" feeling, hence the slightly older age

Wynne, I'd put more in her mid-to-late 50s, just on a hunch, and telling from people from that age group I know. Hair dye wasn't popular back then, and her gray hair makes her look older in our times than it would have back then - I know a guy who had almost completely white hair at less than forty...

Elves are suppose to be immortals right? But the only immortal elf is Zathrian as i understand the story. So for an elf, we maybe can give excuse about age. They maybe look like 10 years old but live for 100 years...who know? lols

I am not sure about dwarves, they are always short and chubby, but their age can simply guessed by their facial appearance, like Sandal, we know Sandal is a boy although his height is the same like his father.

But in anyway, i am really confused with the time line in this game....

I am not an English speaking, but i understand that no one give a title "boy" to an adult. His father will likely say "my son" instead of "my boy"...and he is not his real son anyway.

If i am an English parent, i will not call my son as my boy especially in front of strangers/peoples because i know that will embarrass him.
