I actually contacted Sony first, then EA.  Sony told me to contact EA, then EA told me to post on the forums .

here is the email, anyone have any ideas?

I apologize for the misunderstanding about the original trophies earned versus new ones earned through the disc based version of Mass Effect 2. There is not anyway for us to delete the temporary Trophies Collection that we know of. I can say for sure that real trophies cannot be deleted from it. I would be unfortunate, as you mentioned, if the temporary trophies cannot be removed. While this is a game designed for use with the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and the downloadable version (trial and full game) were available from the PlayStation®Store, they are published by Electronic Arts. I recommend checking with them to see if they have information about what happens when a trophy is earned in place of the temporary one. I have included their information below.

Did you do these trophies when the PSN was down? If so then you are most likely sol sadly. I had the same thing happen to me when the whole clock issue put the network down. Was playing Uncharted 2 all day and all the trophies and progress I had made didn't count.

I'm having the same problem. I got a few trophies. I bought the game and got the platinum trophy, but it won't show up on my profile card and compare trophies list because of the trial trophies. I contacted Sony and EA but no dice.

What is a trial trophy? And please tell me I won't lose my ME2 trophy progress when PSN is back up.
