Hi folks,
I just bought a copy of Mass Effect, and I am experiencing the following problem: After installing the game I try to open it. The initial screen comes up fine, but when I try to press either 'Play' or 'Configure' I get this message: "Mass effect Configuration Utility has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
The first time I encountered this I uninstalled and re-installed the game, but get the same problem. 
One thing that concerns me is that, although the game case contains two disks, in the install it has never asked to insert the second disk. I wonder if this is another problem?
Besides that I'm installing the game on a Bootcamp Windows XP (SP2) system that overwhelming meets the requirements even for Mass Effect 2 (which runs fine for me).
