For the Correspondence Interrupts quest.

I have 11/12 love letters, and I've had so for a time now. I've searched everywhere, including some specific places I've seen discussed a gamespot forum post:

• Brecilian Ruins - secret hallway just inside the entrance
• Circle Tower - Senior Mage Quarters (searched the entire tower as well)
• Dalish Camp - just north of Varathorn
• Denerim - in a back room at the Pearl
• Denerim - in Wade's Emporium (also rumored that it could be at the Arl of Denerim Estate, I loaded up an old save and searched the whole building, nothing...)
• Denerim - Arl Eamon's Estate (I'm a warrior, and only locked chests remaining. From what I hear rogues that could pick them didn't find a love letter in any of the locked chests)
• Haven - Villager House, on wall
• Lake Calenhad Docks - Spoiled Princess, NE corner
• Orzammar - Carta Hideout, SE corner of Jarvia encounter (also searched the entire hideout)
• Orzammar - Royal Palace, east side
• Redcliffe Castle - basement, NW alcove
• Redcliffe Village - Windmill

I searched all of these places and more. So far nothing, still 11/12 love letters...

Codex Entry 242 shows the Correspondence Interrupts love letters.
By stating the first few words, I have the following letters in order:

• My Darling Reginald
• To Wareth Lowstone
• A delicate matter
• Darling
• My elfroot
• Donogan
• You are filthy!
• My dearest Virginia Trueroyal
• Dear Ser Jon
• To one's paramour
• My Love

Which one am I missing, and where is it???

I know I didn't get the last one until very, very late in the game. I think it is one of those quests that if you are looking everywhere and unlocking chests pretty consistently you are not really intended to finish until you have been most everywhere in the game, but I could be wrong. There were a few that remained open throughout my playthrough only to be wrapped up by the end.

Might be in the Brecilian Ruins. I will check later since I seem to remember only getting one love letter from the elf quest.

I found it for both my characters. Its the Brecilian Ruins one. Locate it by looking to the left at the false wall near the entrance. Yay!

I got that one. I guess the entries in the codex show up in a particular order then, not depending on which letters you find first...

Well, if it helps, I'm VERY sure I didn't find any love letters in the arl of denerim estate. I was counting letters at that point. So it has to be somewhere else missing on your list.

Well I just checked Brecilian Ruins. I found the secret door but inside there were only two corpses with useless items. That's very, very sad.

I can assure you there is indeed one in Arl Eamon's estate in the only unlocked chest in the whole place.  I believe its in the Arl's room if I remember correctly.

Actually there is one in Denerim - Arl Eamon's Estate, but its not locked or anything, check every room again. (i finished it with my warrior)

I made the same mistake;)
There a two secret doors at the beginning of the ruins, the one after the tree bridge (you found) and the a set of two hidden doors near the entrance of the ruins.

I had 11/12 in my first game as well, and my 12th was the Brecilian Ruins one.
I suspect that one needs a pretty high skill (does device mastery helps with secret door find?), as I did not find the secret door the first time I went there (I did the ruins pretty early).

Please do not confuse arl eamon's estate with the arl of denerim's.

The two that are usually the problem are the Brecilian Ruins Secret door letter, and the one at Arl Eamon's, which I don't think you can get until after you have wrapped up the Landsmeet. I found it in an unlocked chest in the same room as the rightmost entrance to the manor. (looking at the map.) There MAY be an earlier letter in the Arl's bedroom, don't recall, but I hunted everywhere for that 12th letter, and found in in the entry room. It's just north of the room Zevran and Leiliana are standing in.

Yay! Found my last letter. I didn't know there were more than 1 secret door in the Brecilian Ruins, I had found one secret door and assumed I had already gotten the letter from there. Found the other secret door now and voila.

NOTE:

The secret door WON'T SHOW UP WITH TAB KEY. You have to go close to the wall for it to show up. The secret door which contains the love letter is at the entrance just before you cross the roots bridge.

Just thought I'd throw this in (though I know I'm resurrecting a dead thread) The notes are in order relative to where you find them. Cromalic really helped me out on this one as I was missing note 8 which corresponded to the spoiled princess.

Thanks so much for this post. I had looked closely at the doors in the ruins but apparently either not close enough or didn't hit Tab. I went back and was able to get my last love letter therein. Many thanks! =)

Found it in the Brecilian Ruins as well. The secret door is very secret. Looks like TAB doesn't reveal everything. I'm gonna keep note of that in my next origin game.
