As much as I love the party banter and conversations I think the game needs more group conversations. Where you aren't talking to just one companion but two or three or all. Where other companions are reacting to what one companion says as much as you are. Sometimes it seems like the companions don't notice the others are there, though this has been steadily getting better as bioware (and obsidian) make this style of rpg.

I don't know about you, but generally in real life my conversations are between 2 people. Others may be listening and put in a word or two, but they don't say much comparatively.

I dunno, I think there are plenty of times DA2 has multiple party members in conversation. It doesn't happen a lot but there are plenty of times in banter between two characters that a third will chime in or make a comment.
There are also plenty of times where a 3rd or 4th party member will take part in a scene. When you visit your companions there are times where we'll see they're talking to someone else before they turn their attention to you. Or with quests like Aveline's in act 2; bring Isabella along and it really adds a lot to the story. Speaking to Emile in Act 3 can be quite different if you're a male or female and who you have in your party.

Also attempting to flirt with Merill in rivalry mode brings Varric into the conversation.
