it urks me that shepard is the first human spectre but then it seems like human spectres start coming off an assembly line afterwards. at least ive gotten that feeling in me2. maybe it was a long 2 years..but still.

Are you kidding? She managed to hold off Liara, Shepard, and an elite secialist (Shepards squadmate) with minimal reinforcements, for a little while at least.
Now, if you're asking why she ran away from Liara, then the answer is clear...Liara was with Commander Goddamn Shepard.

From what I've seen from this thread, VS fans have tons of redeeming factors for VS's actions on Horizon, with the most popular "But you're the terrorist now!" (and on all my playthroughs I was always a reinstated Spectre by that moment, with council permission to work with Cerberus at Terminus Systems) and "Ash/Kaiden APOLOGIZED!!!!111oneone". Though it happens only when you romance VS, but VS-fans seem to forget this fact. And most people who don't like VS never romanced them, so they never got that letter.
I think, when you love someone, you are more inclined to forgive and make up some non-existent reasons to do so.
Though, I usually don't visit VS fan threads, so I don't know, maybe forgiving VS-lovers are just vocal minority, and the rest were frustrated. If so, I apologize.

I was actually a bit mad about the VS being a Spectre. I feel like they're becoming superior than my Shepard despite my Shepard doing things no one else would do. I sure hope that the Virmire Survivor isn't the one who brings in Shepard for the trial. I also hope the Council don't start prefering them over my Shepard.

how do you think those of us who romanced them feel? We get called traitors and watch our lover walk out on us because of Cerberus. The we don't even get to see them again! It would be the biggest make up for them to ahve been a spectre while we were dead, explaining why we couldn't go visit them like Liara romancers could. it would also fit the theme that everyone (except Garrus apparently) has gained some position of power with Shepard gone and it would be nice for Shepard to have an EQUAL (even though Kaidan will outrank Shepard if he's alive.) along side them. it would be a "okay we heard you, and here's your fave character back and better than ever" for them to be a Spectre straight form Bioware.ExtremeOne wrote...
