I am not angry at the world but yeah Bioware has showned that it has certain character fan groups  that get special treatment . like Kaiden and Ashley , Liara , and Anderson . what the hell about us ME 2 fans and the ME 2 characters that we like . Bioware does not have the balls to tell us if Miranda or Jacob will be in 3 . but oh we got to make sure ME 1 fans get their favorites back first .  Oh so now I am suppose to buy this crap about Liara the new Shadow Broker being a sqaud mate what was the purpose of making her the Shadow Broker then .  I just think Bioware has always been more on the ME 1 fans side and its sad they do not give a Sh*t about us ME 2 fans .

Saren wasn't a xenophobe. He was working with the Krogan. Saren just hated humans. There's a difference with hating one race and hating all but your own.

Seriously did you not play the first game? You know that crazy human hating spectre who pretty much tried to kill you all throughout the game?
Im guessing its either you dislike the VS or your ego can't handle another individual being a spectre.....

I played it 5 times, thank you very much. And I liked Ash. I ****ed that girl 4 out of the 5 times. I used her in my squad most of the time when I was on a mission. She was a great character to keep around for a big fight. 
I am not using my dislike for her. I am using my evaluation of her character as a whole, and an evaluation of the position of Spectre.

How am I wrong? Did I misquote her? Is she not a xenophobe? She can use a gun really well. She is a real threat on the battle field, but that's it. Only i the battle field. A Spectre has to be able to get things done outside of the battlefield as well. Ash would only be able to put a team together if she slept with every member first. And, they would have to be human. That or threatened to kill them, and even then, that's not how you get a good team together. She can't talk her way out of any situation multi-race without putting her foot in her mouth. 

I'm not sure why I'd put any effort into what essentially comes down to an opinion.  You either think she's Spectre material, or you don't.  I do.  Thus, I think you're wrong.

Apparently, Bioware agrees with me. 

Wrong, yet again.

P.S. Saren was a xenophobe - hated humans.  Still was a legendary Spectre.

Apparently things can get blown out of proportion real fast. She doesn't trust aliens, she doesn't hate them. Hell, she even criticizes Cerberus and Terra Firma. By the end of ME you can convince her to care for aliens (think Navigator Pressley). And how many SPECTREs do you know? Because apparently the ones you know are all more badass than the ones I do. The only good SPECTREs we've seen are Saren and Shepard. Nihlus and Tela Vasir were jokes compared to Ashley. And if saving the galaxy from Sovereign wasn't good enough to make her SPECTRE material, I don't know what the hell does.

So you're mad because Miranda and Kanye Jacob aren't in ME:3? You do realize the games still months from coming out and that Miranda will more than likely show up

She didn't save the galaxy! She was in the background. If the player wanted, she never even left the ship after Eden Prime. She was a pawn.

You are taking what she said out of context. She says she never had alot of experiance with aliens as she's been ground side most of her time in the military. And the whole "the council sicking us on the bear" comment is a logical argument not racism. Because what did the council do when we found out saren was going to Ilos? Her stance on aliens is not one of xenophobia, but of ignorance. You can't blame her for that. And the way the council doesn't lift a finger to help humanity ever how high of an opinion would you have of them.

If you never worked with aliens before and now all of a suddenly they are on your advanced experimental warship would you be quick to trust them?

Saren was a Turian. Turians, at that time, still didn't like Humans thanks to the First Contact War/Relay Incident. At this time, Humans were not ont he Council, so Spectres didn't have to work with humans too much. Anderson and Shepard were the 1st two humans (that we know of) that Spectres had to work with. So, at the time, it wasn't a big deal for a Turian Spectre to hate humans. Shepard's (along with Garrus') actions are what really cooled the Turnian-Human relationship.

What I and probally most of the other ME 2 fans are pissed about is Bioware has no problem telling ME 1 fans who from ME 1 will be in 3 . But Bioware will not tell us ME 2 fans  who from ME 2 will be in 3.  Its garbage and sad that a developer clearly backs the fans of the 1st game so much.  ME 2 has its fans and Bioware needs to start listening to us .

Not the point, though. What Ash is or isn't, or what she can or cannot become, is completely irrelevant.  The point is "Must love aliens" isn't part of the job description of a Spectre. It's just a "rule" the person threw in there because he thought it somehow disqualified her.

Lol,seriously an evaluation of the position of Spectre? Have you gotten the MCQ questions for the written test given out to all candidates? Last time i checked Saren tended to put his foot in his mouth more often then necessary with how he deemed humankind. If your thinking that the Spectres are part diplomatic and part military then you haven't met Renegade Shep. A Spectre is someone who is capable of doing the councils dirty work and as long as you can fill that role its all fine and dandy with them,you dont need to have a political mindset to be a spectre.

Have you ever heard of patience??You might wanna try it some time. Beside Ashley/Kaidan/Liara fans had to wait one whole game to get their favorite characters back so of course biowares gonna announce them as companions first. You getting angry at this is like me getting angry because Grunt hasn't been announced as a squad mate
