A lot of work for a fake that would be exposed within a few hours. Plus, it never said that anyone was excluded from the squad, it merely said that some are not confirmed.

Anyways, I still maintain that everyone will return except DLC squaddies.

No, it's from a real article in Playstation Magazine.  They're just doing a lot of speculating and throwing around more innacuracies and oversexualizations than Mass Effect: Genesis.

That "NO" under her portrait does not mean "not coming back," BTW.  It just means "not confirmed at this point."

Which doesn't mean it's correct. It has errors left and right and no confirmation from Bioware. Clearly they're uninformed and the one that put that fake stuff up was only going by what 'they' want to happen. James Sanders being wrong shows that it can't be true since the real James Sanders was confirmed before this hit.

I think it is pretty conclusive that the people who wrote this have not been let in on any new or private information and are, in fact, poor writers and journalists to begin with. The fact that they are able to maintain a magazine is baffling to me.

Not trusting aliens and be racist are two different things.

IMO her feelings are a little deeper then just plain distrust..   Maybe I wouldnt go as far as calling her a **** or something, but she is a little to racist for my tastes.. She diees in every one of my games, though thats only because I like looking at kaiden more, and she has the personality of a wet q-tip.

Doesn't mean they haven't gotten it wrong before in the past. Take it with a grain of salt, especially when they got a lot of known things wrong.

They are dipsh*ts, I agree but they aren't even right thus they're just being fanboyish dipsh*ts which is bad considering they're supposed to be a gaming magazine.

Ashley is a nationalist, not a racist. Her hesitancy to allow foreign nationals on an advanced military warship, and her opinion that ultimately other races will take care of their own are nationalist sentiments.

The only reason there's any confusion at all is because they just happen to be aliens. At no time does she imply that humans are inherently superior beings, that they have a right to more than other aliens because they're humans, or that other races are less capable or less deserving.

In the same way Cerberus and the Illusive Man aren't racists either.  They're hyper-nationalists: jingoists.  They aggressively and wantonly pursue a patriot agenda well beyond ethical standards.  They don't do it because they think humans are inherently superior, in fact they recognize many of humanity's weaknesses in their experiments and actions, they do it because they want their team to win.  Really, really badly.

Since you kill her so much I have to ask if 'you' ever talked to her. If you are Paragon you can push her not to be so worried about Aliens screwing Humanity. Even if they 'do' screw humanity in ME2. Though if you're Renegade she calls you out on being racist on many occassions since what Renegade Shepard does is far worse than Ashley simply wanting Humanity to be strong on its own without being heavily reliant on others.

Especially when said 'others' have a history of discarding those they have no more use for. Such as the Krogan and Batarians.
