Ill start out with the basic info:
Windows Vista home prem 64-bit service pack 2/ Intel core
duo p8400 2.26GHz/ Nvidia GeForce 9800M GTS/ 4GB RAM /direct x 11
Game version MassEffect2.EXE I haver turned off all enhanced graphic in the game config but still my mouse pointer does not respond favorably. It flickers and disappears/reappears briefly before disappearing again. I know it is not a huge deal in the game but its irritating. I have not tryed the game with it like this because I do not want to get in a firefirght and have my crosshairs disappearing.. Any one have any suggestions?? I also have this problem with NWN and other games. I have always just played windowed when I have the issue but ME2 i really want to play fullscreen...
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance...

What is the Video Driver you are trying to use? Newer ones are probably not compatible with your graphics card and this game.
One of the most common conflicts with games and the Microsoft mouse drivers in Windows is caused by "animated" mouse pointers in various "THEME" choices, especially the TRAILS option.

Isn't that a Mobility chipset ie laptop in the Graphics card?? IF so technically it isn't supported, and thus will have odd issues all around. I also think ME2 needs DirectX9.0c to work properly, so you might try reinstalling it to make sure you have it and it isn't corrupted.

Yes its laptop, A gateway p-7805u. I will get direct x 9 reinstalled. Thank you. I did play in full screen last night an the crosshairs did not flicker and disappear but when ever i had to use the mouse pointer, it did take a few extra seconds to make sure it was where i needed it. But thank you so much.
