We do not talk about Forever... in case 13 years was not enough.

Plus I'm still looking to punish Bethsoft for publishing Rogue Warrior and Wet, so Skyrim will probably be my "BAD DOG NO BISCUIT!" game with Bethsoft.

Let's not also forget they allowed / made Obsidian release Fallout New Vegas in an atrociously buggy state... even by Bethesda's standards (which are low when it comes to degree of polish... though I understand to some degree.. large open world games can be hard to catch all the bug in... but no excuse for countless bugs that impact the storyline & not just the freeform exploration).

I've played the Elder's Scrolls game since the very first back when I was just a wee tot... so while they're not exactly my favorite series of games, I sort of feel compelled to play them just because they're so closely tied to my own origins / start in gaming.

Skyrim will undoubtedly be a fine open world RPG (after a few patches ^_^ ), but as an "older" gamer I prefer strong plot & characters in my rpg games as opposed to the freeform RPGs I liked in my youth... so Skyrim doesn't hold as much appeal for me as something like Witcher 2 or Deus Ex human revolution.

Oh.. and as with all Bethesda made or published games... best to wait 1-2 months AFTER a game's release before you buy it... they are notorious for releasing excessively buggy game and usually need a good month to patch them up to acceptable degrees.

Witcher 2 OMG! Dragon Age 2 wasn't what we expected and Witcher 2 looks like it's going to surpass my expectations!

Then there is Deus Ex, I hope it's good really really do. The Old Republic if it still launches in Spring, Hunted the demons forge looks interesting, Skyrim and that's it really.

TW2, of course.
Deus Ex...maybe.
SSF4. Very excited about this one.
Skyrim. If it launches prior to ME3.

Just got Portal 2 - it's great fun, especially in co-op mode.

I'll definitely buy The Witcher 2 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Might try Dungeon Siege 3 and Hunted: The Demon's Forge, but that will depend on reviews.

And, of course, Skyrim and Battlefield 3. But I've no idea if they'll be released before or after ME3.

Portal 2, Dragon Age 2, KOTOR, (haven't played these yet), maybe Deus Ex whateveritisinow and Arkham City, provided that I can find extra money for them.

The Witcher 2
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Guild Wars 2 (assuming it's released before then..)
Skyrim, maybe.. Cutting out acrobatics is not a good thing in my books. Hmph.
Minecraft (Since it's not technically released yet, and still gets plenty updates ;))
Probably a handful of others that I've forgotten about..

in all honesty nothing :( but I will probably buy deus ex (it has a lot of potential) and maybe rent portal or something to fill the void.. besides that just replaying ME 1 & 2 (as always) and feverishly storming through the books/comics repeatedly/// = no life

Bulllizzard releases games when Bulllizzzard is damn well ready! Which means we'll be getting Diablo 3 in the year 2025.

This.

I don't think there are any other interesting games (at least to me) coming out this year besides them and ME3.

There are plenty of great games coming out , like Witcher 2, Skyrim, Zelda,  Gears 3, Uncharted 3, but the industry is now so big and there are so many great games that I can't even keep up! These days I am always playing catch up and rarely buy games at launch (although ME3 will be an exception if only because I want to play it while the story is still fresh in my mind), so I am usually playing older games and by the time I buy a new one it is already old news. This is great because I get to buy it much cheaper (just this week I picked up Borderlands GOTY for 12,50 on Steam!), bug free, often with DLC included and, in the case of PC games, there are already plenty of mods out!:wizard: Right now I am playing Assassin's Creed 2, and in my "to play" list are "hot new games" such as Borderlands, Stalker: Call of Prypiat, Warhammer 40k, Valkyria Chronicles, Uncharted 1 and 2, Gothic 3, The Sly Collection, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Metroid: Other M... the list goes on and on.

PS: Am I the only one who has zero interest in Minecraft and simply don't get what's the big deal about playing around with ugly blocks??

No, you are not alone. It's like virtual lego, isn't it? I guess it's no game (no story, no goal) - but a toybox to keep yourself occupied and build whatever you want to build. But my lego days are long, long gone - and I don't need a virtual replacement for it. :P

Hmm, I'm still waiting for my copy of Portal 2 (Amazon is so slow to deliver in my country :?), X-Rebirth(finally a new game in this series, I was really freaked out to hear that Egosoft will finally do it xD), The Witcher 2(doing an extra playthrough of the first game so that I can remember everything~), Skyrim(hopefully I can see Akatosh <3 ) and Alice:Madness Returns~

So it's a pretty good year for me xD

I have zero interest but I do get the buzz. Entirely. From the first days of Minecraft's announcement I saw the potential. For the true builders of our time it's a fun and relaxing experience. Graphics be damned; it's the heart that counts.

It's just not for me.

Yes, you're right! How dare you have your own opinion on something! :P

But it can look quite beautiful with the right texture pack and mods (also personal opinion, but I quite like the low-res blocky look as well. It's charming, in a wierd way). And there are alot of texture packs and mods.

Lego Pirates of the caribbean (I've been playing those since I was like 12), Transformers Dark of the Moon the game, and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (still haven't played, trying to find a cheap copy)
