Also Batman Arkham City. I loved the first one. It was an exelent rendition of Batman and his villians, and I can't wait for the sequal.

(Just my opionion, althrough those who play minecraft is gonna get furious on me now :/)
But it can look quite beautiful with the right texture pack and mods (also personal opinion, but I quite like the low-res blocky look as well. It's charming, in a wierd way). And there are alot of texture packs and mods.
Yeah, I didn't like it either when I first saw it, but when I well played it, it became a little addicting.
And charming, as you said.
Plus, there's multiplayer.

Gears 3
Skyrim... I dunno. I LOVED Morrowwind, Oblivion not so much and Fallout was good but boring after a while. I think Bethesda needs to make some interesting characters and add more than one camera view when speaking to them.
Dark Souls
I'll have zero chance to play them.

I second this. Been playing the beta, and it's a lot of fun.grievous04 wrote...
Definitely Gears of War 3. Been waiting for this game for three years now. I must know how the Story ends, because its pretty good for a shooter.

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - 3DS

The Witcher 2
Red Faction: Armageddon
Gears of War 3
...also, can anyone here recommend Far Cry 2? I read an article about on gamasutra stating that it had a good, albeit different, narrative structure, so now I'm sort of interested in it.

i have Far Cry 2 at my PC games box collection. But i wouldent say its worth alot of playtime. Missions can be enjoyable but also alot frustrating (especially if you havent played it before) sometimes one mission can take over 1 hour to complete and there **** loads of missions in the game and side missions which earn you extra cash if your in need of it. Also you drive around in a car pretty much from middle start of the game to the end. However its excellent if you like free roam game where you can do alot of stuff such as blow up buildings ect go in stores and buy Weapons from (usually the black market in game) sellers, other then that i cant really explain much more sorry

Red Faction Armageddon
maybe Witcher 2 - I'll probably wait until this comes out for consoles if they ever make an official announcement for that. I'm not much of a PC gamer and I'm sure it would look better on my Xbox than my PC.
If they come out before ME3:
Guild Wars 2
Dark Souls
maybe Skyrim

I liked Far Cry 2, and I recommend it if you like beautiful (at the time at least) free-roaming shooters. But if you are looking for a good narrative/characters/story, you probably won't find it in FC2. It's not bad but it's very basic.

1) Deus Ex: Human Revolution
2) Elder Scrolls Skyrim
3) Alice: Madness Returns
4) L.A. Noir
5) Rage
6) Gears of War 3 (but I have a very love-hate relationship with this series, so it's strange I'm looking forward to it, because I despise it 90% of the time).
Unfortunately I am not looking forward to Witcher2 as I could not get into the first one! ::quickly ducks for cover::

PS: Am I the only one who has zero interest in Minecraft and simply don't get what's the big deal about playing around with ugly blocks??
No, you are not alone. It's like virtual lego, isn't it? I guess it's no game (no story, no goal) - but a toybox to keep yourself occupied and build whatever you want to build. But my lego days are long, long gone - and I don't need a virtual replacement for it.
I have zero interest but I do get the buzz. Entirely. From the first days of Minecraft's announcement I saw the potential. For the true builders of our time it's a fun and relaxing experience. Graphics be damned; it's the heart that counts.
It's just not for me.
^JeffZero understands
The big* deal about minecraft is that, its limited by your imagination. People are making working calculators ingame, scaled mega objects like RMS Titanic, the star trek Enterprise, Pixel art monalisa.. etc
Seriously, take a look a some of the creations in minecraft, you can scoff at it all you want but when you play it you're hooked.
